If there had been a Fleet version, it would have been enough for some. As is, without the Fleet version...it simply isn't.
Cryptic needs to realize how far behind non-Fleet/Lockbox ships are in general...

Now here's the $64,000 question: are you going to add a 2nd hangar bay to the Romulan Dreadnoughts so they have the same pet capacity as the Atrox, Vo'Quv, Kar'Fi, Recluse, and Jem'Hadar Dreadnought?

Drones are frigate class pets. As will ALL other frigate class pets, they can only be launched from their specific mother ship.

Lack of a hangar isn't the reason I decided not to purchase the new warbird, its because of the boff layout and lack of a fleet version. Why not just listen to the feedback on tribble when many of us said we didn't like the boff layout, mainly the ensign engineer should have been swapped with the sci Lt so if we used the Lt Cmdr universal as sci we would still have at least lt engineering. It still would have been a new unique boff layout, and the universal would actually be useable in something other then eng. The Lt Cmdr universal with the current boff layout is a false universal since it has to be used as engineering. If I have to have Lt Cmdr eng I don't want an extra ensign eng station either I rather have that as sci.
I am sick of false universal stations, all ships need minimum of Lt in sci and eng, why don't you ship design devs try playing a ship without at least Lt in sci and eng in pvp or No Win and see how long you last.
No reason to get this ship still when I can get the boff layouts I need in my Mogai, Scimitar, Dhelan and Tvaro.

Guys, for all of you unhappy with the changes they're making to the Ar'kif Retrofit, get over it. I see the Ar'Kif's change as the Romulan equivalent of the Federation's Heavy Escort Carrier. I just don't get the fact that people a couple of months ago were complaining that the Romulans had a lack of ships. It'll take time for them to add ships to the game.
To those going on about how the lock box ships outclassing other ships: Get over it. Not everyone has the money (or the patience to grind EC) for the ships. The ships right now that the Republic have are carry overs from the Empire.
Just one thing to add: Both the Scimitar and this ship can cloak. This one is a cheaper alternative.

If you can't get in the game I doubt that is PWE or Cryptic's fault. Seeing as there are loads of folks having zero issues logging in. I would contact your ISP and make sure your router isn't blocking the ports used by STO first. If you use a firewall like Zone Alarm or something similar make sure it isn't blocking the launcher or the game itself from contacting the server. I had this problem with Zone Alarm with a few games. I had to go into the program list and allow STO to use the net. My launcher connected fine though, just the game could not pull up my characters and timed out; all due to my firewall blocking the game from access to the internet.
I do like the looks of the new Romulan ships but to me they're quite similar to the Mogai as far as stats go. A hangar isn't a selling point for me but I still think it's an overkill.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the KDF "supposed" to be the carrier race? And yet, they lack an HEC and a Sci-escort-carrier (Vesta Class)...
Yeah, KDF does have the only flight deck carrier, but still, that's a cruiser with single hangar deck... And KDF "could" get the lockbox J'H HEC, but still, why don't the carrier lovers have their own carriers?
And now there's yet another highly tactical HEC-type ship showing up, from the other race that's supposed to be a bit more sciency than warlike...

Would you please suggest to the Devs to have a "Bug Bash"? There are a lot of bugs many of us have been complaining about for months that just aren't getting fixed (that we know of.) We submit bug reports, and we get no response. We ask for help to the "customer service" and they just tell us to submit a bug report, which seem to be a black hole.
And if in the off chance that someone from PWE actually communicates about a known problem, they just make promises like it'll be fixed "in the near future", but we don't hear anything for months at a time (if ever after the initial promise.)

On the contrary. People WANT updates. Like fixing tailor crash, missiing boffs on their stations and tons of others. Instead of this we get new icons and a hangar to a ship which does not need one.
