last night, took a team of 5 galaxy x's....


in the que we were a pugmade, we used some consoles, ended up against klingons and had a blast!

the only thing i'm left wondering...


what went through the klingons minds when they saw not 1, not 2, not even 3 or 4, but 5 full galaxy x dreadnaughts decloaking and attacking!....

i imagine it went like this-

klingon 1- "we dont see anything... wait.. 5 ships decloaking... are those..."
klingon 2- "that seriously cant be 5 galaxy x's"
klingon 3- -mind blown-
klingon 4- "what.... what the..." -dies shortly after- (all 5 gal x's targeted him)
klingon 5- "lol galaxy x's"

    Premade: A pre-arranged group (AKA 5 GALAXY-X's) of people who will do an activity together.

    A premade is built so the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Random ships, or oddball themed ships grouping together isn't really a premade. Though, it's not a random pug either.

    we were not a premade, i say this because we had 2 engineers :P

    there is a serious difference between a premade and a pugmade. if you ever think there isnt, im sure a real premade would love to show you the difference.

    i'm getting sick and tired of people automatically assuming that just because you pregroup up with random strangers youre automatically labeled a premade.

    and yes, actually. if you did all take the defiant, and didnt discuss what bo powers you'll were taking aside from generic statments like- "ill run heals" then yes. you would not be a premade, youd be a pugmade.


    you forgot the second definition- "A term created by those with little to no brain power to replace the word "Organized" or "Org" as premade was found to be easier to type out or say than Org." http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=premade

    i also like the third definition.

    point is, expand your vocab. saying our pugmade was a premade is like saying my VW is a bently just because theyre both cars.

    snoge00f, if memory serves me correctly we (Gaius and friends) gave as good as we got and it was a good fight regardless of the outcome.... but yeah those were the days some good fights back in the days of QEW... now I'm a KDF and KDF Romulan in search of a Good KDF PVP fleet these days

    It was a great fight. Funny, craptastic powers, spam everywhere, quad cannon equiped Gal X's! Best fight i have had in a long time.

    I was on the team and had no clue who three of them my teamates are. Hell we didnt even call targets for half the match. Not in team speak or any other voice system.

    To bad the Galaxy X is a garbage ship with only 3 tac consoles, a LT Tac and a lance ability that misses more than 75% of the time...

    lol at the galaxy x....must have been some pretty bad klingon players.

    Ever dropped a galaxy x in pvp with a fleet hoh'sus bop in 6 seconds? its quite fun.

    I would take the Garumba with its Javelin over the galaxy any day.

    they werent bad players, the galaxy x is a highly underrated ship when used properly...

    also it has tons of badassery when you quad cannons it.

    OK so today me and a couple of my friends decided to take a all escort team into the ques and we got people to beam from us saying we are a premade, but by what you posted we are a PUGMADE but others still called us a premade

    How is that possible? I thought when some Space Pvper says something (and btw more then 1 of you agreed with the person i am quoting lol) you beleave its true but then complain when that so call team beats you up even tho the team was a pugmade

    But yeah, forming up in a public channel or anything outside friends and fleetmates is still a form of pugging.

    Call it "pubmade" if you like, but true "premades" play and train together to the point where they can act as a single-minded unit. Five minutes in a chat window doesn't count.


    And a well-built / well-handled Gal-X is a scary boat.

    Which is why I used the vw Bentley example, since pugmades and premades are similar just like pugmades and pugs are similar.

    If Team X = grouped
    If Team Y = not grouped
    Don't put them together in a little arena.

    If Team X = grouped
    If Team Y = grouped
    Put them together in little arena

    Not enough pvp players in this game for that.. unless you want to wait hours when you queue with some friends..... but hey wait, the average pvp player has no friends i guess. ;)

    I'm not a mind reader. Did you try explaining to them the difference between a pugmade and premade?

    Also, keep in mind its easy to mistake a pugmade for a premade if they're all from the same fleet etc etc.

    I went to post the video I took of the match, but then I realized Kraven already posted it above!
