Problems connecting to the game w/ Verizon ISP? Here's a work around

Verizon, especially on the East US coast, seems to be sending traffic to the game through Cogent. Cogent and Verizon are apparently in a pissing match. A work around some of us in my fleet that live on the East coast have using is a free VPN service. This allows you to connect to a server, you're essentially becoming part of a different network.

A list of VPN servcies and their pros and cons.

I have no affiliation with the linked site, or the services mentioned on there. Use at your own risk bla bla bla. Call Verizon and yell at them.

Any worthwhile VPN service (read: can handle the transfer rates and won't lag/rubberband you) is going to cost money. So Cryptic/PWO's official response to this is "go spend more money"?
