Since Legacy of Romulus launched, I have received no Computer Core Fragments from destroying vessels during the Distress Signal mission in the Alhena system in the Neutral Zone.
Prior to LoR I was receiving 1 or 2 per run with a very rare run giving me 0. Now every run yields only regular loot.

Did get a rare drop on elite but disappointingly it was only a Mk X disruptor beam bank."
Are computer core fragments no longer being rewarded? I have run that mission 3 times since LoR and I got 0 computer core fragments, until now I have always received at least 2 each time.

Can't say one way or another till a Dev chimes in. Keep checking back and dropping a line, but it may be better to do so in other thread in Bug Reports (link above). Devs check that forum more often I have read.
Just to keep you updated, ran it on 4 characters and still no joy after todays patch. Sure wish a Dev would drop us a line, would be nice to know if it is on their radar.

I believe the computer core fragments have been accidently dropped from the loot table. I have been running the Defense Contract mission every day for just over a week on 5 different toons, (2 feds, 2 klinks, and 1 Rom) and have not got a single one on any of my toons.
Ok then Still no luck with core fragments and I've been running every day on four toons without a single core fragment dropped, even by the law of probabilities I should have had at least one fragment drop by now.
I'm not sure if they are a thing of the past since I've still got several core fragments in my bank obtained before the problem started, but I'm just not getting any more. So far the only other two reasons for doing the mission from my point of view is the dilithium reward and the Deuterium surplus (Well I go through the stuff almost as fast as I do torpedoes). But like you say it would be nice for one of the Dev's to at least give us some feed back. Especially to those of us who are on a gold membership! But I get the feeling that they're trying to Nerf the amount of dilithium we can farm in a day. But I've noticed recently that not all the items that they fix are listed in the patch notes (The D'Kora comes to mind)
I've now had several blue quality items drop as loot but still no core fragments. If any Devs happen to come across this thread a simple yes or no to the following question would be help full. Have the core fragments been dropped from the game?

That's disappointing, as this is one of my daily missions. I've had nine computer cores sitting in my bank since just before LoR started. Frustrating that this has not at least been commented on by the Devs.
In another post regarding the apparent removal of "Salvage Dispute" (the mission that Franklin Drake offers after a player collects 10 dropped computer core fragments in "Defense Contract"), a Dev has made a post and has indicated that he will pass that issue on to QA.
Also on further reading of the STO Wiki, with no drops occurring, the accolade "True Intentions" (collect 10 computer core fragments) and it's 10 point reward, will no longer be achievable.
If a forum mod happens to peruse this thread, could you correct the spelling of "Defense" in the thread title... Thanks in advance.

It has been quite some time since they have gone missing, and it would be really appreciated if a Dev could let us know what their plans are.
Are these fragments a thing of the past, or will they be returning?
I have been trying for at least three weeks now to complete the collection of CCF and am still short.
Ran it today and still no core drops.
Everyone keep on posting, hopefully we will get a status report soon(tm) on this issue from the Dev's.

Hereticknite085 way back in post #18 ran it at elite level and received 2.
