From what I've seen from the consoles it'll be a sit and shoot ship. Pretty boring in my opinion.
Now if they enter the USS Dauntless I'm fair game, but the Scimitar doesn't cut it for me.

But yeah, if we discount the whole add on and everything along with it, everything else is older.
Everyone want new content, but there are some new content to do, and it takes more than 1months to make new content.
It looks absolutely nothing like a Breen ship. In the slightest.

No, it really doesn't.
Breen ships are possessed of odd sweeping sections with jutting wings, and have a general asymmetry to them, like so:
It adds to the alien mystique of the Breen, how their ships don't look quite like anything else any of the other major galactic powers field. They're strange floating glyph-like shapes, aloof and foreboding.
Whereas the Scimitar has a much smoother appearance overall, despite the small number of protuberances it has. It is also, like every other Romulan ship I can think of, symmetrical:
More importantly, though, despite being classified as a Reman ship, the Scimitar importantly follows the guideline that almost all Romulan ships have: it looks like a bird. A large, angry bird.
Even the active firing mode of it's main gun makes it look like an avian making an aggressive display:
And just to drive my point home, here it is, pictured with several other Romulan ships. Pardon my saying so, but it doesn't look out of place in the slightest.
If I had to choose between it being from the breen or romulan i would go rom but i would have to give it a bit of thought . it's not quite cut and dry easy to pick
The Scimitar is more Reman-influenced than it is Romulan influenced in it's design aesthetics.
And it definitely doesn't look like someone took the letter "G" and made a ship out of it like the Breen did. :P
If that's true, then I really hope to never see you post in a "Scimitar Needs Buffs" thread. Ever.
(A lot of folks said the same about the D'Deridex, and yet, tons of threads trashing its stats popped up anyways).
why its not a romulan ship its reman
Romulan ships despite their military mentality also serve as Romulans exploration and study ships. The Scimitar is a weapon of war nothing else.
Bah! That stuff only matters if you care about it. I realize Cryptic wants us all to have Fed/Rom/KDF characters but surprise! Not everyone cares to do that.
