On Monday according to the blog they are releasing stats and a release date. Usually when stats are released a launch date isnt far behind. July mid Id say.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
The unofficial stats that were released have dampened my need for this ship.
A 6 turn rate kills it for me
6 turn is about right. I get the feeling the Sim will be a bit like the Jem Dreadnaught. When you put lots of toys on it to your own specs you be surprised how much turn 6 will be.
Monkey see, Monkey do. Monkey flings Feathered Monkey poo...

Do you always believe what you read?? Personally I'm going to wait till the ship is released before i accept any statistical references..
If it does end up having a turn rate of 6, so what? what do you expect in this game with a ship that is some scale larger than a D'Dex??I know that in the movie it was able to do at least a 45 turn but this isnt the movie and a monster like this could be easily made into a game killing mistake ( people would simply leave. We saw a similar thing happen with the National air races between the fourties and fifties after th P-51 was introduced ). Lets just wait and see though.. Hopefully, it wont be long.

I'm guessing next Thursday.
