No Nukara rep rewards? **T5 Rep Reward Now LIVE!**

Well this is odd, I have asked a few people whom have tier 5 Nukara rep. And they did not get any reward like the previous reps. Both Romulan and Omega gave you marks and a lump sum of dilithium. So, the Tier 5 Nukara rep gives you nothing like this as far as I know. Is it simply bugged, or was this intended to not really reward players like previous reps?

The trouble with it is, the gear that you can buy within the rep requires a bucket load of marks and dilithium. With the dilithium you earned from doing the rep equates to 17,000 and the amount of marks pumped in is quite high. Yet, there is no actual mark reward at the end. So, to buy anything you need repeat the same stuff, on all your alts!

    I haven't hit tier 5 nukara yet (mostly due to leveling a bunch of new toons) but this wouldn't surprise me. Reason it doesn't surprise me is the LoR was designed imo to do a few things. The first one was to throw any current and future factions to be on pay content wise with each other. The other is to provide a new lockbox as well as new c-store ships to the game. The last aim to fill the bucket if you will was to add a reputation system which mostly took CE most likely the most never used fleet action before f2p, and then mix in all the new stuff that had tholians to make the square peg that it was to fit in a nice beautiful reputation cylinder.

    The thing that relates to what you are saying in this how the other reps reward you with said amounts its like giving you set piece free when you hit tier 5 and if its like you say and there is no reward I have quite a few issues with that.

    #1. If nukara is no longer going to be rewarding fleet marks... What in the name of kahless would I bother buying up EV suit sets?

    #2. Okay, with the loot table removing the old level less set from the elite boxes but all that pretty much drops out of these is TRIBBLE to recycle lol.

    #3. Considering both #1 and #2 as serious flaws in the nukara rep I would think there would be something other than gear that should be tied into this rep since that is the only possible link to end game that it can provide in its current state.

    So from what I'm taking from this is the fleet marks should come back like defera, put in items in those elite boxes that can be used to progress holdings of a starbase, expand the types of gear in the rep store for a more in-depth view on the situation of the tholians (an example would be like an engineering kit that does something on the side of being a temporal mine/bomb or something in that area of tholianism)...

    So basically 1 or more of those would be great... I just don't see the end game of the tholian rep in its current form to return Fleet Actions like CE back to its original state of never used to never used in a million years.

    Edit: I also have been pondering the thought of gorn wearing helmets and EV suits and the spikes and teeth for biting how this will work with a Gorn :P LOL

    I too have just hit T5 Nukara Rep about an hour ago, and have yet to see any completion bonus/reward pop up. While I personally don't believe that omitting the bonus is a design choice, I could see it as being something that was overlooked and forgotten about during the LoR hustle.

    But nobody will know for certain until a dev responds.

    My feeling is that the bonus for Nukara rep should be the highest of all, as comparatively, it's most difficult to obtain Nukara marks in quantity. STFs reward 60-120 Omega marks per run, Romulan Rep has Epohh tagging, which rewards large quantities of marks for just a few minutes of work daily. But Nukara really has no fast track. Pretty much all PvE events reward tiny amounts of marks, and the few that award more than 50 are very challenging.

    Anyway, just my two cents.

    I haven't the slightest inkling of doing Nukara rep, because of this.

    I have posed questions as to why the fleet marks were taken away, but it seems to be falling on deaf ears.

    So, it really doesn't matter to me about Nukara, this is just another reason why it is useless to go there now.

    Good to know.

    I burned out running Nukia on all my alts around level 4. Now its just a long term project. Borg and Romulan are much more doable on multiple alts.

    Anyway its good to let new things age...so you can see what gets nurfed and whether its worth your effort. Next year I'll have a better idea on which alts would benefit from Nukia rep.

    I completed the Nukara reputation earlier on today and noticed there is no reward, is this intentional or did the devs not put one in?

    Changed maps 3 times - nothing
    Changed instances - nothing
    Bought something from the store - nothing
    Logged on after a couple of hours - nothing
    Did the mark-dil conversion - nothing


    From what I can see the "reward" for grinding through it is nothing........

    Any answer from the devs would be appreciated as I am sure quite a few people will be finishing theirs around now and are scratching their heads

    Like you didn't get your T5 active ability? Or the ability to unlock T5 store purchases? What are you missing?

    Sorry, for actually completion, before with the Omega one you got - taken from the wiki


    In addition to the following rewards, achieving tier 5 with Task Force Omega will also reward 500 Omega Marks, 10 Borg Neural Processors, 9000 Dilithium Ore , 64000 Expertise ., 40000 Energy credit , and the title choice "Task Force Omega".



    you also got a whole load of goodies for completing the Romulan one also

    EDIT - I think the Romulan one was 30,000 Dilithium and 750 Romulan Marks + Title

    Oh wow. :D I had no idea we got extra stuff for T5 rep. That's nice! Odd that they wouldn't do it for Nukara too, though. Ah well, for me at least, I'm getting extra rewards I didn't know about, so a little less doesn't really bother me :P

    Good to know there is no reason to go past T4. Though now I am quite miffed that I grinded (ground?) 5 toons to T4 for nothing really. Only 2 of them were going for gear. The rest was for the dilithium at the end.

    Hopefully its an oversight.

    Odd. I admit I'm new here, but I would think the daily dil (1440 I think for all 3 reps combined), plus the accolade, plus the passives, plus the active ability, plus the gear would be reward enough. I cant believe anyone would spend 50 days grinding away solely for 9,000 - 30,000 dilithium, especially given that even 30k dil can be earned in far far less than 50 days it takes to get to T5.....

    I think someone said the rewards for the older ones were taken out too (could be a bug, could be intentional, or the guy could have been wrong).

    if they others still have them, then i think the tholian rep should do so as well, if they have all been taken out then i would like to know the reason why?

    but there are plenty of other benefits to get to tier 5. its not all a total waste of time. powers, dilithium, unlocks etc

    I reached T5 Rom rep on one of my characters the other day, and after i completed the story mission i was granted the rewards...


    Severely hope this is a glitch of some kind! 750 Nukara marks would be greatly appreciated in getting some of the space xii gear

    It can be done other ways as well, which I do. Getting enough marks to do rep was just part of my daily grind rotation. Its not that hard to get 50 to 60 marks for each everyday. The bonus at the end just made it seem worth it on my toons that will not be getting the gear. I'm just pointing out that its nice to know I can remove nukara from my daily grind as there isn't much point for my alts to get it.

    That being said, it would be nice if there was a reward for finishing it, similar to omega or romulan rep.

    I had my rewards bugged on my engineer when she had completed Omega reputation. It was weeks before the reward finally triggered when I was cruising in sector space and moving from Sirius to Regulus.

    You could try that, see if it triggers.

    It triggered for me when I started another project...can't remember if it was the omega torps or the omega ground set, but once I started it there were the rewards.

    I assume it is just a bug. However, this will not be as profitable as the Romulan Rep bonus. So 500 Nukara Marks and 9000 dilithium to get one piece of equipment for the ground sets.

    Or the Romulan Rep, just hitting T5 didn't give you the 30k dilithium, etc. you had to complete a special mission, which was unlocked after hitting T5 on Romuland Rep. Is it possible the Nukara mission works the same way? Is there a new mission on your "Available" tab? Or Maybe you get it after completing one of the "Hard" ground Tholoan missions?

    I haven't gotten to Nukara T5 yet, so I don't know the answer...just throwing out ideas in hopes they help!

    Reputation System was toted as something for the SOLO players similar to the Fleet system.

    To require that a hard mission be done would be Hypocritic.

    Will hit Nukara Tier 5 tomorrow, but I doubt there is any missions unlocked at Tier 5 since it is not as story driven as the Romulan Reputation.

    Except the mission isn't hard.

    There's a challenge to it but if you don't play like an idjit then you'll walk out just fine.


    Haven't hit Nukara 5 yet but the Romulan 5 mission was a challenge without being "ZOMG 2 HARD!!!!!!".

    Finding it a lot easier with the change to Marks on the Nukara Prime missions. Running two sets of the exterior and interior during the Bonus Marks event gives 440 Marks so it only requires 4 days of 2 hours work each day to get enough to get to Tier 5.

    Hello.

    Maybe you need to exchange some marks for dilithium and it will work. At least it worked for me in the omega rep to get the reward and i unlocked the playable remans on my romulan t5 toon that way. i'd say it's worth a try.

    Same here, no rewards. I asked one of the Devs today about it and he basically said probably not but he'll look into it... STO's twitter replied the same.... If I knew no bonus rewards I wouldn't have gone past T4. (Not impressed with the T5 "weapon". Would have stopped me from running the same 2 or 3 Nukara mark missions over and over.... and over.)

    Just completed the rep on my 2nd character, claimed the tier 5 ability all ok, still no reward at the end for final completion like the other 2

    On my main its now been 24 hours since completion and ive been all over the place Doffing, into a couple of STFs, if its not popped up now I think it never will /grr

    No new missions in my Available or In Progress tabs

    It's the lump sum of marks and dilithium ore that encourages people to get a console or a set piece after grinding all the way to the end instead of grinding to get what they need and then stopping.

    Well a reward in marks/dilithium would have been nice to fund the space ground XII sets.
    Been taking it slow in the grind so still 10 days away. Perhaps we'll get a gift before then.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
