Haven't tried it yet, but the tier 5 ability should be useful for fighter spam. It could be considered as a free, but weaker version of the point defense system where we don't have to waste a console slot on it.
Huh, I had forgotten that you get anything extra for T5 in Omega and New Romulus. And it is disappointing that it is not there for Nukara, of course I was really only going for the T5 ability anyway.
I was hoping to get the Nukara space set because of the visuals, and i took some comfort in knowing that if the previous 2 reputations where anything to go by, apon reaching tier five i would receive enough resources to offset or cover the cost of the Shield array. This is going to make things far more difficult, as 60k Dilithium ish was reasonable for XII Gear, but the fact that we don't get a reward atall, 90k is just too far.
Also, anybody who is there all ready, do XII space cost 1000 or 750 marks?
I was grinding to T5 with the hope I would get enough Dilithium and Marks to buy a console or ship piece. When my friend got there before me and told me this wasn't true. I was very disappointed and stopped bothering at T4.
Shame really because I'm a completionist. I like to have everything done to the best of my ability.
As i said earlier, a reward in marks and dilithium would have been nice.
I'm grinding to T5 for the XII ground and space set. Ground because i'd like to use something else than my trusty breen weapon and space because i have a nice idea for a Tholian Tetryon build on my Intrepid.
From T5 it's back to STF and foundry for me.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
There was still no answer to this from a dev?
I finished Nukara rep today and no reward either. If thats working as intented, short word about it would be nice.

If they don't add rewards for completion with Nukara, why not?, what makes this one special as not to warrant it, will the next one have some and if they do it comes back to this one not having any and being singled out until it happens again with another one down the line.
Getting the rep bonuses each tier is all very nice and some are really really good but having that little incentive at the end gives you momentum to go for more marks to complete the set - if you used the marks to buy 1 piece - or buy the console you have been looking at or weapon
Completing Rank 5 of the Nukara Reputation now directs the character to report to the Nukara base camp, where the commander will provide a significant reward.
I believe the "significant" reward includes Dilithium and Nukara Marks.
Should be like what you get from T5 Romulan rep, but Nukara marks instead of Romulan marks.
Any word on its ETA yet? I was amongst those disappointed to not see any Nukara reward. I didn't even expect *any* reward for any faction when I started; but when I got rewards for both Romulan and Omega, I was disappointed to get nothing for Nukara. Especially since Nukara marks are the hardest to make (nobody in the pug knows how to do the Crystalline thingy properly, and there are no Nukara dailies).
Nukara are much easier to get now though. I hit T5 on Monday and i have the full MK XII space set and the full console/mine/dual beam set already.
My tactic was, wait until rep bonus time, then do the 2 nukara ground hard missions from the queue and follow those up with crystalline entity elite. This nets 180 marks in less than 30 minutes. If you have time drop a vault ensnared in there too for around 230 marks in 35 minutes (if you are fast).
However it is a grind. I usually dont hardcore grind like that but i wanted to just get it done so i can get Nukara gear off my chest.

I haven't done any space battles to try my new clickie power, but since I'm not skilled for Tets, I expect it'll be lackluster at best.

That is kind of what this is to me.
The T5 reward is a bonus, hell, I wasn't even expecting anything when I reached T5 Omega, only to be pleasantly surprised by that bonus.
And now people are ******** because Nukara happens to not have this bonus as if it were the only reason they were doing it..
