That said, it's nice to see a new equivalent of the Tuffli. Excellent for some of my less played alts. Also, so this is why you all didn't make the Corvette a freighter type.
And here I was hoping for a ship that actually served a purpose at endgame...and didn't require the use of luck or excessive EC grinding to obtain. It does look cool visually though, but I'm not going to go out of my way to attempt to get it just for that.
Wake me up when a new purchasable ship is out.

We all have twenty million combat ships, frankly, there isn't much that would tempt me away from my Kumari or Bug, so I'm so so happy we finally get another utilitarian ship. This is what I was hoping the Risian Corvette would be!
Freighters rule! I've got more miles out of my tuffli than any other ship in the game - it's been my road to riches.
I'm calling that Security Officer OP now. +300% Ambush damage (3x doffs), that should be 150% * (1 base + 3) = 600% extra damage? That's a lot. Being DoT will give the target a chance to heal, but I don't think a Hypo will be enough to counter that much damage over time.
Not to mention grenades not consuming Ambush but still getting its bonuses. Two ambushed grenades + 1 whatever Ambush hit is already looking insane in theory.
The Cell Ship looks quite cool... it's a shame it's not a combat ship and/or available in the C-store, then I'd buy it!

The DoT would have to tick through your shields, which usually have better resistance values than your health. Pop the MACO shield heal for a good HoT to counter it (and more Shield DR to make the DoT weaker).
Currently, well built Tacticals can one shot people with an Ambushed Pulsewave. These doffs are more for pressure damage (either because you can't quite get that OSK or your enemies tend to be really good at not dieing).

I think you meant to say impossible to make EC without spending zen, and yeah, I think that's the point. Right now, I think that once my fleets mine is up enough my characters are just going to switch to that for making ec, dil to zen, then zen to EC via lock box keys.
So Romulans have to enter a lottery to get a duty officer reassignment lottery? Other factions don't have to go through such chances for a purple doff native to their faction and neither should the Romulans.

eww suliban, disgusting. Not sure why devs insist on tacking them on to Romulans or why they are in this game anyway. Enterprise was such an unimportant part of trek history best forgotten, lots of us trek fans barely even saw that show :rolleyes: I don't even like that you summon a Suliban freighter instead of a Romulan freighter, so no way am I going to want this cell ship at all.

This. They will make the IGE optional a tiny bit easier to acquire and add another reason to stay far away from Ground PvP.
You're right the show about the first president and key founder of the federation was pretty unimportant.
It wasn't even on regular network TV where I live, just on one of those other channels on at midnight before it got canceled. The story was absolutely ridiculous, and contradicted so much stuff about canon seen in previous series it just made no sense. There wasn't even supposed to be a ship named Enterprise back then they just made it up before making that show, before it was supposed to be all the early warp exploration was Daedalus class ships. That's why the TOS Enterprise was Enterprise 1701, if that other "Enterprise" realy existed in Trek universe the TOS ENterprise would have been 1701-A but they got around that by calling it NX. Nobody was supposed to have seen what Romulans looked like before balance of terror, or discovered gorn or Tholians until TOS, but somehow stuff like that is all forgotten :rolleyes:. It just shows how badly you can mess things up by doing a series further back in the timeline.

All the new stuff are very nice but i have a big problem i have no space for them.
Can we have an addon or extension maybe Lifetime 2 that make it possible to have over 100 shipsloth.

how much power, how much of a chance? i sorta dout this will be all that useful. maybe pared with warp core doffs you could have a reasonable expectation of something procing, but ET isn't used that often
Research Lab Scientist (Space): Chance to lower the cooldown on all Shield Heal powers by 15 seconds when activating Science Team.
thats a nice bonus for running ST, sci ships could go with 1 copy of TSS proboly.
Conn Officer (Space): Chance to increase Perception and Accuracy when activating Tactical Team.
stealth sight and accuracy buff? this will be the most sought after by pvpers for sure.
Energy Weapons Officer (Space): Chance for Beam Overload to cause your attacks to ignore a portion of shields for several seconds.
escorts running cannons and BO just got even more dangerous. how about a doff that lets torps nagate that 75% built in resistance to knetic all shield shave?
Astrometric Scientist (Space): Increases the duration of the defense buff given by Mask Energy Signature.
is there a defense buff after you deactivate MES? or is this for if your spoted and shot at?
Fabrication Engineer (Space): Increases the duration of Reverse Shield Polarity.
oh boy. there will be a feeding frenzy for these.
Matter/Antimatter Specialist (Space): Your Auxiliary Power to the Inertial Dampeners now also increases your Energy Resistance Rating and is increased in duration.
wow, AtD is just an awesome skill with this. mass resistance to all and movement buff. to bad you have to chose between that skill and the best hull heal AtS or an AtB with a tech doff build

anyone useing FBP will love this. if you dont swap targets you will kill your self even faster.
a lot of the ground doffs look pretty desirable too. though ive done a lot of ground lately, my experience is still pretty limited, so i wont comment specifically on those doffs.
