No, Yes, No. It does have replacement features for both of those things it does not have, however.
Alright so I understand that the Unique DOFF Contact will be onboard and will effectively replace the Trader, however what replacement feature will be replacing the call security freighter? An onboard Security Officer NPC? That would be pretty cool.
I understand the strategy of making it on par with the Tuffli instead of obviously superior, but I think since the Tuffli isn't even available anymore that the new ship should have what the Tuffli had and then more.
But then again if it were up to me I'd have ship interiors set up as a quasi-reputation system so you could unlock anything you damn well please on your bridge and ship.

The doff grinder (that you aren't likely to use if you have some brains).
And I'm now very curious about that Refugee contact. You said Adjudicatorhawk something about picking additional Doffs from it? If that's the case and they have a (non-negligeable) chance of being blue/purple, then I see no other way than getting this octopus.
( - It has better looks than the Tuffli, much nicer interior, possibly useful Refugee contact.
- The Tuffli has (in my eyes) only one advantage: Trader.)
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
You may be very, very interested in the Suliban Cell Ship. Very interested, indeed. "Choose" is too strong of a word, but "Guide" would be an appropriate substitute.
Are these doffs bound or can they be sold or traded or given away or sold on the orion slave market or nm i dont want to go there.

I'm assuming that the personnel officer can grind up DOFFs and grind DOFFs down. Personally I grind down purples that aren't useful if I can't sell them for more than what I could the 27 white DOFFs that I would get for completely grinding them down (and more often than not this is the case).
The other contact seems to be interesting as well. I am not sure how that will work out, and would like to see more information released on it.
Personally I am not a fan of the look of this ship exterior wise, but to me that doesn't matter at all because if I buy it / buy packs to win it I am more interested in the utilities onboard.
Also this new contact opens up new possibilities, I would pay a lot to be able to handpick the traits of my DOFFs instead of crossing my fingers and hoping I get something useful/good.
Stinks for all those picking up the tuffli recently. I hardly ever put out zen on things because you just never know what is next. At least I have a reserve if something really awesome hits.
I think the ship looks nice though, wonder how much it will set me back on the exchange.

I am curious about the commodity discount. The Tuffli freighter is also supposed to have a discount yet the Terraforming Systems and Seismic Stabilizers I just purchased are the same price at DS9s commodity broker. So either Cryptic broke the Tuffli freighter to make room for the Suliban ship (which is evil) or the discount isn't a permanent feature.
This is especially frustrating because I just spent close to 10mil EC for an Embassy project and could have used the discount I was promised with the Tuffli.
Green, the Tuffli has never in my experience given a discount on the advanced commodities. You can get them 'at cost' (i.e., no markup) from certain vendors, including the Tuffli, but the only place to get them at 75% price is through the Fleet Embassy.
Awhile back I learned that there is a different reduced-cost vendor for every type of normal commodity (ie not-Gamma-Quad). For example, Fed-side you can buy Provisions cheaper at Andoria than you can at any other commodity broker and ESD is always the cheapest place to get Shield Generators.
There's a pre-discount breakdown for every broker for every commodity on STOWiki. I've mapped out the prices for a Ferengi, but some of the prices seem to have changed on me and I need to go back and remap them.
What the Tuffli gets you is the 'wholesale' cost for each commodity, as if you were going to that broker. (Mind you, don't know this for sure as I don't own a Tuffli...)
What I don't know is whether certain discounts can "stack". I'm curious to find out whether the Ferengi discount, the Embassy Discount Broker, and the Mine Commodity Discount are/will be cumulative.

The email attachment issue isn't fixed yet and I can't use my old doffs from the attachments, why should I buy new doffs?

Bran, when is the ship selector going to be fixed? We've had a couple updates with no attention to the Cell ship. It was one of the reasons why I bought the ship.

Thank you Bran. I think that it is great that you have started to add the status on the bugs reported in on the forums in end of the subjects. Thanks for that too.
A Romulan Republic Reassignment Contact (A mission that allows you to exchange three white or green officers for one green or better duty officer from the new pack)
Anybody have any details on how this works? It sounds like this gives you a permanent contact on your menu. Does it only give your Roms from the pack?

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
