all mails from before gen 2013 are missing from my account, I've sold a lot of stuff but did not received any "item sold...." mail and I need them, when items are returned to me from the exchange I always get a double mail, one empty and one with the item in it...
also my STIPEND ITS LATE ONCE AGAIN. (i've already submited various tickets).
Could you pls sort this out? this its getting annoing (expecially having to submit a ticket every 2 months for my STIPEND)

Agree - taking out the 100 attachment rule would make it a lot easier to get everything out.

All 'Exchange sale expired' messages are duplicated; items only attached to one.
One mail From: Exchange - has the item attached
One mail From: Exchange (Holodeck) - has just the message.

If that is true why is all my gear from lock boxes that i spent 1,000.00 US dollars on keys for in the last year gone . Yet all my trash was still there , mails from 2011 with TRIBBLE in them still there but all lock box gear gone ... looks like theft to me ..

Hi All, I am a lifetime member with a large Mail problem (No not a Man problem guys!) ha ha but the same as my fellow Captains.
Many of my older emails are missing, with lots of stuff I was waiting for the right time to sell.Lock Box gear, and crafted items to sell. Now they are Gone.
I am also getting double return emails from the exchange. 1st one is an empty email and is undeletable, the 2nd is the email returning my unsold items. These I can delete. These undeletable emails have now caused me to not be able to send anything at all to my account or any of my 8 characters. This is totally unacceptable.
After reading what my fellow players have written in this thread; I see that You have installed a limitation to the email system. This game has been very profitable to PW and I don't see why after giving us so much freedom with the mail system, Now take and put a limit on the number of emails we can now send. . . Please buy another computer or two to handle the extra load instead of putting another limitation on a BROKEN Mail Service!
This is NOT how you encourage us to spend more money with you!!! Taking away freedoms that we already "Count On" in the game and then deleting our stuff, is this just so PW can have the leanest computer resources possible to maintain the game? IT IS A Dumb way to motivate us to give you more of our cash!
The Game is Already Lagging so badly that people in our fleet with lower end computers Quit playing this game because their machines can't run it!!! So how is this more efficient for Perfect World? Loosing us our fleet mates due to run the system so lean is also LOOSING YOU CUSTOMERS! People who I know but stuff from you. So how smart is that? I love this game, and Love the fact that is was playable by almost anyone, . . . but now with the terrible Lag issues, the deleted items in our emails, the lack of making this new email limitation (where people are going to LOOSE their STUFF) as known as when someone pays to open a lock box and luckily gets a ship (which to me was totally disrespectful to us, the people who make you money) and the Still Broken Mail System. . . .
We spend plenty of our hard earned cash on this game, Including those 800+ Lobi crystal ships which cost us over 250 dollars to finally get. If you buy the keys to open all the boxes to get enough crystals to get the ship. But that is NOT even including all the rest of the Lobi needed to get the ship all it's special items which adds up to more than the ship cost! So Lets NOT pretend that Cryptic and Perfect World are not making enough cash to cover a few extra computer systems to handle our mail needs. . .
And The Mail system is STILL BROKEN most likely when you put this Arbitrary Mail limitation on us! This IS Incredibly frustrating to us folks!
So please talk to the higher ups and see if they can not only FiX the mail system, which I CAN'T Even USE With ANY of my Chars, but Please oh Please also Remove this arbitrary limitation (That we have NEVER had Before) so that they can use Less computer resources to provide this "Free To Play" game that is making them a grand amount of revenue. .
Please keep investing some of the profit back in the game,(like your doing) and it's loyal STAR TREK fans will keep spending their hard earned money to keep PW able to use the income to not only continue to make this game even Better and Bigger, but also PW can use the excess for their other endevors.
But Please Realize that STO is by far the Best MMO I have ever played. And I have beta tested several dozen MMOs and played many of those. But "Cryptic is to be Totally Commended" for this "Legacy of Romulus" Add on to the game! Congrats Cryptic, you folks ROCK!

I also have 2 emails for each 'unsold in exchange' mail, with a similar experience on not being able to delete the second mail. I could delete some, but not all. Realized this is because the item was posted by a different toon.
Unfortunately, I've discovered if you delete the mail with NO item attached to it - on the toon who posted it - the one with the item disappears! Gone - no way to get the item. And of course, the duplicate is the first one in the list.
So be careful; take your items out of the mail before you attempt to delete any blank ones! Otherwise, you will run the likely risk of losing your item.
I also filed a ticket - it's not listed in My Tickets, so I can't update it.

I have also encountered this problem. All mail messages except the ones from the Exchange indicating exchange sales have expired (of which there are two, one with an item and one without, and cannot be deleted). I'd really like to know if this is something Cryptic is planning on trying to fix or is it just part of the implementation of the new 100 item mail limitation.
If this is just a side effect of implementing the new 100 item limitation, why weren't we given a date and told to get our stuff out of the mail, or have some choice in what items were kept (we still have the junk we were trying to get rid of in the exchange that didn't sell, but all the valuable stuff is gone).

300 blue/green duty officers; 30-40 bridge offices with desirable skills; dozens of items for exchange posting; mail i kept to remember the good times in the game; and so much more I can't even begin to think of what has been lost. I feel ill.
When LOR came out the mail system was broken so you could not delete mail or otherwise clean it up. Now I log in and find items I had in the mail gone and exchange sale notices expired that I can't delete. I am not buying the 100 item mail limit no company would be so inconsiderate as to change a major game function in a system that has not worked right since the expansion and not even post a news notice of it along the with the Dev blogs. That would be the same as a grocery store expecting you to shop without them providing a cart to put stuff in and saying I am sorry you can only buy what you can carry but your welcome to come through the checkout line as often as like. See how fast the checkout line is no one has more than five items this policy made everything faster (better) for the customer.
Restore the lost mail and the associated items, and provide some customer service in doing so. If you need to change mail limits post something with notice and time for people to go through and ensure they have items of value cleared for a purge.
You should not wait for. Do not trust cryptic. They don't care about players. Only one thing is important for them. The way they can grab our money. And no matter what they do is not fair, no matter what they do is dishonest, no matter what they do it's not morals. They want your money and nothing. This place is there to let you cry but you will never get anything. That's cryptic way!

Some emergency maintenance should begin... as in replace lost mail to include the items.
I mean, if they did it on purpose should have let people have warning and time to deal with the items purchased and acquired through the grind.
I just discovered this mysterious mail disappearance after a foundry mission and had to blow off steam.
Makes me rethink my time on this game and it's future with my pocket book.
