Unable to connect to patch/launch server!

And I actually pay to play this game! NOW what's going on? It's 6:15pm Eastern US time and I can't get on the game. Not good!!:mad:

    My launcher will not even open. Task Manager says it is running, but quite obviously, it is not open.
    I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

    Perhaps you've angered the interweb gawds and they've seen fit to revoke your connection to the login server for STO while letting the other 99,999 players connect and have fun playing STO. :rolleyes:

    I managed to connect but the game had a lot of lag, to much lag to bother continue playing.
    Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

    Gotten sever not responding 3 times then crash - can log back in but lag is bad - then crash - done for tonight.

    You've got a lot of insight and you're probably right, but make that 99,995 having fun as there are 4 more disgruntled posters in this thread! :rolleyes::D

    having the same problem....usually when it does this, all u have to do is download the latest launcher file and...Bingo youre back in business.
    however, this time the game is rejecting all attempts to fix the problem. not only does my STO launcher do this, but so does my neverwinter launcher AND my champions online launcher.

    But hey no big deal right, i can still launch the game manually....Oh wait, that doesnt work either!!!!!

    Tell me cryptic....WHY IS IT THAT YOUR SERVERS KEEP REJECTING ME???

    And once again, and a day before regular maintenance the servers go down! Its getting difficult not to be surprised by this anymore. I guess that's what happens when I pay them upwards of 30 to 50 bucks a month to play a Free to Play MMO...:rolleyes:

    Same issue. Launcher will not pop up, although I do see it in Task Manager. I can run GameClient.exe but it will not log in.

    It is becoming all too common for the servers to lock up about the same time as they add the graphic about up-coming downtime.

    Here's a thought quit putting the graphic up, we are all most pleasantly surprised when we can log on as it is.

    For some reason, my Launcher window got moved off screen on Monday. After the immense frustration and crying, I found out the problem. Just right-click on the STO launcher icon on your taskbar and click on Move. Then use your arrow keys to move the launcher window to the screen.

    Now I am stuck with an idiotic Launcher Autoupdate that is too slow and keeps on crashing with no access to an updated version that doesn't need Autoupdate.

    Launcher is running extremely slow. When I finally connect, character screen takes forever to load a character. Then I get login failed, and I get booted back to the login screen.

    My Cryptic Autoupdate launcher starts tries to connect 2x. then starts to download....then freezes and resets at ~48K...about every 45-60 secs then just refuses to connect after a while....

    Ggggrrrrrrr!!!!!:(:eek::mad:
