Account Server is down, Cryptic [Resolved!]

I can log in on the launcher just fine, even patch. but when I should be able to click the play button it's greyed out

    ...or did the Server just go down again? Getting timeouts when trying to connect to the account server.

    And no, my internet is not at fault. I'm posting this via Steam while the game is running.

    Just making a post...is anyone else getting this?

    I tried to log in from the launcher, put in my pass word. I hit the log in button, and it freezes for a second (the launcher itself), then says 'Unable to Authenticate'.

    And that's it. No other reason, no other error, nothing at all.

    Closing and re-opening the launcher did nothing.

    yeah, I got a massive error, while doing tour of the galaxy... and it crashed, big time. Can't get back in.

    Same thing, I went to change char and got that account server message. So sod this for a game of soldiers, back to WoT/WoWP, at least their infrastructure actually works all the time.

    I come home form work today, switch on my laptop, log into the forums, check my account, etc. No problems whatsoever.

    I run the STO Launcher, type in my password...

    "Unable to Authenticate."

    I try again, several times. I KNOW the password is correct, I can log into the website with it just fine. But the launcher rejects it every time.

    This has never happened to me before. Of course, it happens when I'm finally 3 days from getting Tier 5 on my main in everything...

    What is going on? Any tips? I am in the UK and I was playing last night just fine.

    yea its only the account server tho. ppl playing now are fine as long as they dont try to switch toons

    On the plus side, the forums are loading fast, must mean that it's not everyone or they'd be overwhelmed as usual when there's an outage.
