Cryptic Error upon login in Launcher

The following happens: After entering the accountname and password in the launcher, a Cryptic error pops up:

Latest launcher was downloaded, logging the account in on the website shows no problems. This error occurs on two different computers!

    I am having the same problem. Mine finally after it crashing about 15 times gave me an error # 14180372. Have tried searching through the forums to find a fix for this but have so far not found anything.

    I've been getting this too, since yesterday
    - verified steam files, nothing
    - reinstalled steam version, nothing
    - removed steam version, installed Arc, installed Arc version, same thing happens

    Gameclient.exe runs if you start it manually, but then fails to connect to the account server

    Its their login server, well their server/s full stop. They just crashed again.

    Make sure you do not have TeamViewer running, it seems to crash all their games when you try and login..

    I get the exact same error message when I try to login with Teamviewer running..

    something seriously wrong there, and I hope they are looking into it.. no other game crashes with it running.

    FYI - it's been that way since 2009 closed beta; so if you're thinking they'll do a fix to allow you to run Team Viewer in conjunction with any of their games, I'd think again.

    (just saying, as I personally couldn't really care either way if they do or don't - never used Team Viewer while gaming - YMMV.)

    odd, I've had TV running on my PC for years, STO only began freaking out about it a few days ago

    I am having the same issue but have never run team viewer.
