torpedo spread with plasma torpedos

This is not a moan or nerf request

Everytime someone or me fire plasma torpedos in torpedo spread 1,2 or 3 it seem to slow down the server when it inpacts am not the only one with this problem can the sto team please look into it .:cool:

    If it's not a nerf request, then it will probably be ignored.

    I get this weird pause before I spam plasma torps but I don't notice any impact problems.

    For me it pause then slow down on impact any other torpedo does not do this

    Both of these sounds more like graphic card issues then Server issues... The way to tell is to simply lower your screen resolution setting for the game. If this improves the situation, then you know its the graphics card...

    If the server had issues when a torpedo is fired we'd be in big trouble. Can you imagine how many people around the world fire torpedoes at the same time in STO? ;)

    Plasma torpedo spread uses a massive amount of your graphic card. You will experience some graphical lag spikes when it's set too high, even though everything else run smooth.
