We represent a small, casual group built on respect with a rather creative heart
One family spread across two fleets ... one KDF and one Fed ... with a shared in-game private chat channel that keeps us in contact with one another.
Although we do have a teamspeak server, it tends to be a quiet place as many of our players prefer simplying chatting via our group's in-game chat channel, saving voice comms for the coordinated operations ... or for when that socialization bug hits.
Many among us are more "lone wolves" when it comes to playing the game. These individuals may enjoy chatting as they play, but primarily run solo.
Now this doesn't mean everything is solo as there are times where we'll team up in twos and threes to run fleet mark or STF missions together ... or lurk together behind enemy lines inside the bounds of Ker'ret.
The point is that we are small ... dedicated we a shared common love of game ... but small, none-the-less.
Our Fed Starbase is Tier III and headed to Tier IV.
Our KDF starbase is Tier IV and starting the long march to Tier V.
Truthfully, it takes longer for us to progress than the larger fleets, but that's okay ... we just keep putting one foot in front of the other and eventually get where we're going.
So, if you're looking for a friendly place where you can kick your feet up by the roaring fire without all the drama ... We might be just what you're wanting.
If there is one thing that I and others love about the game, its that we can play characters that until now have only existed in our imaginations and written stories.
What few do not know is that the central core group that start Alliance Central Command can trace our origins back to a group that has been around for over 20 years ... alt-starfleet-rpg.
From their website ... "Welcome to ASR, or simply "STAR FLEET"- a PBEM interactive role-play game made up around 100 writers spread across 18 units assigned to one of three distinct timelines. The ASR universe- the PRIME universe, as we call it- was created in 1991, and is set in a time period around 40 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis, in the Earth calendar year 2424."
Their stories all exist in a shared fictional universe where the player who writes the story weaves their stories into the overall fabric of the whole thing.
Now, we split off from them and created a group much like them called Star Trek: Frontiers which continued writing for several years under that umbrella ... and then came Star Trek Online.
For those like me, it was a chance to take the characters we have been writing for 20 years and reboot them into an "alterate" universe, not unlike what JJ did.
You see, 2409 was a time when for many of us ... our characters existed and advanced forward from. So we rewound them and began again with our stories still working together in a shared universe.
Yes, not all our players write ... but some of us do.
We created Alliance Central Command to exist as casual fleet where players co-exist and play the game respectfully side by side.
Some of us are solo players. Others like to group up and enjoy limited team play. Then we have a few who are into radio drama and podcasting with others of us loving to write.
What connects us all is that we enjoy the Star Trek Online universe and enjoy existing within it together.

Romulans, also known as Rihannsu, are a Beta Quadrant race from the planet Romulus (ch?Rihan). As a branch of the Vulcan species, Rihannsu have pointed ears and upswept eyebrows. Many, but not all, possess a small V-shaped ridge above the bridge of their nose, uncommon to Vulcans. Males have softer facial features than Vulcans. The height of Rihannsu males range between 5'7" to 6'3" and their weight is between 145 to 250 pounds. The males have strength two to three times greater than that of the average non-Rihannsu humanoids. The height of Rihannsu females range from 5'6" to 5'9" and weigh between 126 to 165 pounds. There are a few exceptions as in any race, however Rihannsu females are, like the males, generally of greater strength then those of other races. Like Vulcans, Rihannsu blood is green when oxygenated in the arteries and is copper or rust colored when deoxygenated in the veins. The Romulan heart is gray. The maximum Rihannsu lifespan that can ever be expected is approximately 250 standard years, with more typical figures ranging from 200 to 230.
Names and Forms of Address
Names:
Rihannsu who are members of noble houses will have three names:
A FIRST (given) name
A SECOND (location) name - This locative name is prefixed by i- (in the city of) or ir- (in the region of).
A THIRD (house) name
Prefixes used on Romulan Third (last) names:
t' ? for females e.g. Isha t?Valdran
tr' ? for males e.g. Ejiul tr?Kihal
Cha' ? more ancient prefix, less common than t' or tr' e.g. Valerian Cha'Vatal
A commoner will have only a FIRST name and a SECOND name.
Forms of address:
rekkhai = Rihannsu for "Sir." Used for both male and female.
By rank = Khre'Arrain or erei'Riov
By rank and last name = erei'Riov tr'Ra'slethefi
The CO of the ship is addressed either as Commander (Riov), rekkhai or his/her rank.
The XO of the ship is addressed either as Subcommander, rekkhai or his/her rank.
Unlike Starfleet, the rank is never shortened. An erei'Arrain, is not called Arrain, they are called erei'Arrain. A khre'Riov is not called Riov, but khre'Riov.
A person's first name is never spoken by another, unless they are intimate friends.
Rihannsu society is matriarchal and based on a highly structured caste system. At the center of the Rihannsu code of behavior is the importance of "Mnhei'sahe." It is an abstract measurement of a Rihannsu's personal honor and is often used as a status symbol in their culture. Mnhei'sahe, which translates loosely to "the ruling passion," centers around a strong respect and appreciation of honor, duty, courtesy and strength. In all interactions between Rihannsu, it is imperative that all parties leave afterward feeling that their honor and "face," is intact. If not, it is paramount to denying mnhei'sahe to the offended party. If the offending party feels he can apologize without himself losing face, he does so. Wars, executions and deaths of entire households can be required to satisfy mnhei'sahe. If mnhei'sahe is always intact within the Empire, the Rihannsu believe that they can never lose.
If the disgraced party is beyond redemption, those present may simply execute him or allow him to commit ritual suicide, in order prevent further disgrace and loss of mnhei'sahe. It is not a specific set of rules, but an unspoken understanding which guides the actions of all Rihannsu throughout life. Rihannsu honor their word when it is given to another. To break with one's word means dishonor and a loss of mnhei'sahe, a fate worse than death. Politeness, respect, and quiet dignity are always required if mnhei'sahe is to be satisfied. The worst thing that can happen to a Romulan, worse than death is dishonor, and to have their name removed from House records and State records, showing they are no longer a citizen of the Empire.
Rihannsu honor power as much as they honor loyalty. If not for one's self or House, then always for the Empire. Rihannsu are always loyal to the Empire itself, not to any one person. For the Rihannsu, power cannot be defined in standard Terran terms, but in the power of mnhei'sahe, and it defines the very structure of Rihannsu society.
Status is ordered according to rank, house status and personal accomplishments in a long chain until ending with the lowest status, that of a prisoner. Prisoners are considered even lower than slaves - a prisoner is without honor and is not fully Rihannsu.
It is rare for any two Rihannsu to have the exact same social standing. Although prestige and social standing are often related to rank, social status should not be confused for military chain-of-command. Ranks affect social structure, not vice versa. The way things are set up is to ensure that no Romulan is on an even setting with another. Two erei'Arrain's are not equal. The erei'Arrain that has held the rank longer is considered the superior officer.
Romulans place a lot of stock in where they are both in the military and in their houses as well as where their houses are in society. They have a caste system and are loosely based on the Roman Empire. Great Houses have more say / money / etc. than Lesser Houses and Lesser Houses have more say / money / etc. than the peasant class.
There are many methods of which an individual may rise in status: merit and achievements (as well as military honors), subterfuge and betrayals (including blackmail and strategic use of personal or political secrets), the gaining of powerful allies, "elimination" of opponents, wealth (buying of support) and pressure tactics.
Government
While the military plays an important role in Romulan society, it is the Romulan Senate that controls the government. The Romulan Star Empire is a republic.
The highest Romulan rank is the Praetor, who presides over the Romulan Senate and acts as chief of the executive branch. The Praetor heads the Continuing Committee, which is comprised of the Empire's most elite individuals, which make decisions of the utmost importance.
Tal Shiar
By the 24th century, the government of Romulus is dependent upon the Tal Shiar, the Federal Intelligence Agency of the Rihannsu Empire, to maintain order and stability among both civilians and the military. They have a broad scope of power, extending into all walks of Rihannsu life, and all citizens are assured in their safety, knowing the Tal Shiar are everywhere, watching for disloyalty and/or threats to the Empire. The Tal Shiar is known for its brutal tactics, which include routine kidnapping, torture, and assassination. Many Romulans fear even expressing dissenting opinions as to not spark the interest of the Tal Shiar. They are considered above the law and are responsible for ensuring the loyalty of ALL citizens, even high placed government officials and military personnel.
Tal Diann
The Tal Diann is Military Intelligence, as opposed to the Tal Shiar, which is civilian. It is the Romulan Star Command?s internal affairs division, and as such, fills a multi-function role in the Romulan Star Navy. The Tal Diann polices its own, and operates counter-intelligence operations against the Tal Shiar. They maintain and monitor relations between the Star Command and the various fleets, as well as between fleets themselves.

Not sure who this message will reach. Sending it in the hopes there are some like-minded people out there. Someone we can trust. Someone to help us build a new homeworld and keep it defended.
I don't claim to be as noble or just as others in the Republic. I'm not proud of my past, but what's done is done. Only thing I can do is help make a better future.
We may be aligned with the Federation, but my crew I and are Romulan and serve the Republic first and foremost. We will not blindly take orders from those who claim to be our superiors. Everyone is a respected equal on my ship. Family even. Any allies can expect to be treated the same.
This is Dirak of the R.R.W. Incepteris.
Hey, was browsing the vast fleet forums and you guys caught my attention. I like the smaller, fun, drama-free groups in games. Noticed people here like to write about their characters, maybe even RP a little?
Anyway, I started playing waaaay back at launch and then fell off the wagon. However LoR looked awesome and I had to check it out. So far it's been really awesome and I'm hooked again. Plus I've got the lifetime sub, so it's about time I use it!
My main is Dirak@Opulence. Feel free to PM me, or in-game mail if it decides to work. I'll head over to your site too and post there.

Did we get you set up ok in game with invites sent?
We will be gathering this Saturday (June 29) at 4:00pm EST to remember our fleetmate and friend ... AriseAbove from Australia.
As most of you already know, AriseAbove lost his battle with Leukemia recently ... leaving a large hull in our hearts and spirits.
So, we will gather in game this Saturday aboard the interior of the U.S.S. Fortitude ... RWoodcock's ship which AriseAbove continuously hammered against trying to blow it up.
Well ... This saturday for the duration of our gathering ... It will be considered Arise's ship with him in command ... by right of conquest.
To join us, just "X" up in either ALLCENCOM or the UFC channel in game for an invite aboard ship.
We will gather their to remember our friend and share stories ... both in game chat as well as on the ACC Teamspeak server.
Thanks to both Pheonix Lord and RWoodcock for coming up with the location and time for the gathering.
Afterwards, those who are interested are welcome to join together for some fun in the sun (honoring Arise's life) as we take the opportunity to smile and enjoy the summer event together as friends ... taking in the sights and wonders of tropical paradise world of Risa where who knows ... we might even find Arise's spirit kicked back and drinking a fruity beverage along side us ... laughing at us as we try out the jet pack courses and dance floor.
Arise is missed ... so let us honor him together this weekend.
We continue to fly the Australian flag at half-mast today over our Starbases, embassies and all other fleet holdings as we gather this day to remember AriseAbove ... and to say our goodbyes.
Do you ever think that the Federation and Klingons are both being petty and have it wrong? ... Wonder what would happen if we declared our independence from both .... hmmmm.
Following information that fell into our possession, we investigated was reported as a derelict Borg cube emitting strange readings.
A rival Klingon house seemed also to be making a bid for control of the cube ... as well as elements of both the Tal Shiar and rogue Starfleet.
Let us say that we secured surrounding space before boarding and investigating the cube.
Examination of a fallen drone revealed that they had fallen prey to a plaque of nanites that attacked them like a virus.
Samples were collected as well as various bits of equipment, including the ship?s transwarp coils before the Borg ship seemed to adapt to the nanite infestation.
The problem? ? The adaptation left the Borg drones in more of a state of uncontrolled rage.
Our awayteam had to fight our way through the ship to disable the field preventing our evac to our ship.
Once back aboard our ship, I made the only realistic choice left to me in that moment.
We destroyed the cube to keep this infection ... and adaptation ... from making it back to the general collective as it would have made our hated enemy all the worse.
HI! I am greatly Interested in a fleet. I am however brand spanking new. I played this game when it first came out and my computer could not handled it. Now it is f2p and my computer is greatly upgraded.
I started just a few days ago, but could not decided on a career and faction. So I went with Romulan. I am LT(8) and slowly climbing. I have great Exp in World of ******** and I am looking to find some fresh gaming.
I don't know a lot in this game or even understand a lot but I always willing to learn and Enjoy playing this game.

So, if you're looking for a friendly place where you can kick your feet up by the roaring fire without all the drama ... We might be just what you're wanting.

Others like to group up and enjoy team play. Then we have a few who are into radio drama and podcasting with others of us loving to write.
What connects us all is that we enjoy the Star Trek Online universe and enjoy existing within it together.

AriseAbove ... You are missed, my friend. You are missed deeply by your friends in the fleet.
I know its not much, but we have renamed our KDF base to "AriseAbove Station" in your honor.
We'd much rather still have you in game with us, hearing your quick wit and fighting at your side.

Qapla' !!!

Respectfully,
? Gen. Hauk
