ARC affects my fps negatively

after installing ARC I have noticed a drop of FPS by half.

My comp system is not great, 2.9GH and 4GB ram and 500MB gfx, and I usually run at 2/3 settings in video. and I get like 50-60 fps

with ARC is dropped to 17 fps.

I tried running STO without it and the fps went back to 50

tried switching back and forth a few times, every time I use ARC I get to 17-18 FPS and every time I played directly I got to 50-60 fps

    Sorry if this sounds Dumb but what Exactly is ARC ? If more ppl knew what that was they may be able to better help you, also Specific specifications on your PCs hardware would help too :).

    Arc doesn't even detect STO on my PC and its requiring me to reinstall it...

    meh, at least its admitting you have an internet connection. on my main computer it refuses to work saying i dont have an internet connection

    Thanks for the heads up, I think for the time being I am going to avoid Arc till its been in use etc for awhile as is I only play NW and STO atm so I really don't need it lols.
