Marauder Boffs still not editable at all (we were assured "top men" were on it... a year and a half ago).
Didn't you see 'Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark'? 'Top Men' is code for 'stashed in a box and hidden away deep inside an over stocked and barely marked warehouse, never to be seen or heard from again.'
At least you can move the sliders around and change the selector boxes now...so I can't say they haven't made progress on it. Although the lack of uniform options and the fact that trying to purchase the customization resets the Marauder Boff back to 'stock' means it's still broken.
Also, I'm with the folks on:
Fix texture leaks/bleeds on some of the hairs (especially the new ones),
Allowing Romulan characters full hair access,
Adding a 'hide' option for the preset heads and hairs (individually preferably), or closing the presets while you have an 'advanced' button open.
Return of the 'undo/redo' button(s),
Letting me have no stubble on my guy chars. If you're worried about children chars... maybe force stubble on Alien chars with heights under 4'8"/142.24cm or whatever the minimum height is for humans of the same gender as the character. (yeah...they probably wont do that...).
And would like to add:
Allowing Orion females the new 'elegant' (I think it's called) hair style (preferably with it fixed so it doesn't show part of the back of their head skin, and doesn't fall into their cheeks...),
Either make the slider transparent or change it's size so it's easier to see where the bar segment line is UNDER the slider... I would also accept number count along the slider sides and a 'number entry' option...
Making the 'make up' selection box separate from the skin...color gradient thing... selector on the females of ALL races... If memory serves, it's still in the skin...thing... on Alien females. I haven't checked all of my boffs or chars yet. Mostly because the 1 new (non- 'bowl cut' or 'point in the middle' bangs) hair has variable bleed that just annoys me greatly... which sucks, because I like that one. It looks like it would go especially well on more upper level Orion girls and med/sci officers... Not to mention Fed Formal Wear.
Maybe standardize the color boxes again... Makes it hard to set color patterns when A5 on one thing is a certain red and A5 on something else is a green...and there's only 3 reds... 2 of which are very close to the first item's A5... If you want Faction based colors...maybe add them in a lower (and space separated section) below the 'standard' colors.
Let my non-Orion (or at least the Aliens, Android and Marauding Boffs,) wear Orion costume options if the players character is Orion (female or male)...
I can't believe I'm saying this...but... without taking away the 'Orion gear' option...letting Fed Diplomacy Orion Boffs wear the Fed outfits... They may actually be able to already...but I don't recall that being an option... and while I honestly wouldn't use it much... I think some people (especially some of the female players) might like to have it...
Let us make 1 or 2 Additional costumes for our Boffs... and have the option to take 1 or 2 down to non-mission instances... like Earth Space Dock... with a selector and beam down to choose outfits... Including Off Duty and Formal. Just think... you could give us 2 outfit options with each boff, and a Fleet uniform if the player is in a fleet (after all, their boffs are in the fleet too, at least while still under that character's command), and then give us an option in the C-Store to buy more... Some of us are obviously willing to buy outfit options...or I wouldn't have like 6-10 for my chars... I think 8... Maybe a purchase of the same cost as the 2 slots for a player char...but for 1 slot to all Boffs? I'd have to eventually buy like 4 or 5 of them. Maybe more if they ever get more off duty and formal sets.
Proper Reds, golds, silvers, and mid-dark greens (and one of the blues, but I don't recall which) to the Ship Tailor... (What? That's a tailor...)
Posted this in other threads and sent tickets, too but well..
1.) The shoes from the "Original Motion Picture" pack can't be used with skirts or the 7 of 9 suit anymore (it was possible to use them like that before Season 3!).
2.) You can't change the BO that you get from achieving level 4 in "Marauding" (KDF).
3.) For a short time on Tribble, it was possible for vulcan females to wear the "Romulan Hair 2" and you can see a vulcan female wearing it on the promo pic of the "TOS Medical Uniform" pack and the "The Original Series" Bundle - so why is it not available for vulcans?

Everytime I try to change the color of one thing it changes the color of everything in that same column.
Example: I try to change the color of a wrist attachment and it changes the color of the piece I want, the Jacket, the Belt, the Pants AND the boots in the same column. Or if I try to change the color of the Romulan Helmet is changes the color of the left wrist gaurd attachment. (This happens mainly for my Bridge Officers.)
Which brings me to my Second issue. The 23rd Century Helmet appears to only work on MALE characters/BOFFs but I am a Female and play a female Character. The Ronulan Helmet should NOT be gender limited. After all I paid for the LoR Pack I want the use of the Helmet and not just for male characters.
I'm having the same problem with my BOffs color palettes. Specifically on the Romulan uniforms that have undershirts, the color of the undershirt changes the jacket, and vice versa.
The helmet is working as intended, I believe. Don't ever remember seeing one on a female Romulan in the series.

It's kinda sad that for a time you could see that uniform correctly on NPC's .
-- Can't customize the colors on the OMEGA/HG/MACO uniforms on our Boffs , like we can do on ourselves .
I won't buy the insanely priced Mk XII gear for any more Boffs until this is fixed .
-- Reman char creator options very limited .

Another option (the uglier one) gives you the patterns and scars , but no head doodads .
-- When you zoom in in the Char Creator , the "busy" UI actually get's in the way of seeing parts of your toon (on the sides) .
While at the same time , there is plenty of free and unused space on the sides of the screen for ... absolutely nothing .
(once again the previous UI was superior)
-- No "redo" UI button like we had before , so you can't shift between a change and the previous look .
-- No hair options for the Remans . I had to use the Alien Gen (which I hated) to get the look that I wanted .
This also meant that I lost the option to use Reman shades , traits , and clothing .
-- No cape for the Remans ... , even tho your Reman Boff has one ... .
-- "Booby window" option on HG uniform is also busted for some spices (like Orions) .
In regards to the Lobi store Romulan (bought for a Fed character):
Of the Romulan uniform options, only 'Civilian' clothing options are available. This means no Romulan Republic uniforms, either neutral or faction aligned. Despite there being presets available for both of these. (selecting the preset just gives you some random civilian clothing)
Additionally, there is no Tal Shiar uniform available.
No Federation uniforms are available.
Winter jackets are available , but no winter scarves.
Eyepatches are unavailable for selection like they are for federation bridge officers.
Oddly enough, Enterprise boots and the TOS uniform are available.
I would really like to see the clothing options for the Liberated Borg Romulan opened up a bit, particularly the Tal Shiar uniform and Republic uniforms. The bridge officer seems to exist in some wierdlimbo where she is neither a starfleet officer nor one of the Romulan Republic.
As someone who suffers from OCD, I tend to experience mental anguish (I know it sounds ridiculous, but such is the nature of OCD) when I can not make my crew's dress as uniform as it should be. That said, I wanted to offer up a bit of personal insight.
First off, it helps to work within the system. Yes, the system isn't what it should be but you'll have to work with it til it is. Having trouble matching colors between palettes? Use the "Recent Color" tab, it's how I've matched my characters up when this has been possible (though I understand it always isn't and things are easier for me because I tend to favor mono-chromatic outfits.)
Having issues with colors linked between items? Change one wrist and they both change? Click the Random button for upper/lower and this should break the link.
As for Exchange program BOffs, I understand that you want your crew to be uniform and in the game this character technically belongs to you forever, but canonically in Star Trek (at least in TNG) Exchange officers were short or even long-term exchanges meant to bring their culture and command style to a vessel of a different faction/species. Riker was not forced to change out of his jammies when we was first officer on the Klingon ship and Kurn wasn't made to change out of his "kiss boots and leather" (I liked that, so I stole it.) So at least there is canon reasoning for this.
That aside, the only problems I've ever experienced in chargen is the item linking. But then again I'm fairly drab with my outfits, have never got any of the end game MACO/whatever stuff and have yet to really delve into the Klingon side of the game.
However I completely agree with standardizing Romulan/Reman palettes because that right there is just a hot mess.
I have already placed a ticket for those issues on the alien characters from romulan faction. Tooked 5 times and 2 weeks to have an answer from "support". And the answer is that there's no such differences or problems in the character edition options.
Whenever I change the type of uniform, Off-Duty-MACO-Omega, all of my characters options are randomized. I then have to load a saved costume and then I can edit the uniform without loosing my characters look. This happens on all my toons, Fed-KDF-Rom.
Comments
The helmet is under the head section, not uniform. Odd place for it, in my opinion.

There are hardly any options if we want long hair for romulan females. Would be nice to have some.
