Login Problems This Morning?

Anyone else having major issues since the crash last night?

It took about 5 minutes for the launcher to realize the files where up to date and it didn't need to patch. I eventually get to the login screen, click on a character, and it says "Loading" for 5-10 minutes with a "Play" button greyed out, until I eventually get a "disconnected from login server" message.

I don't see any other threads on the forums right now, but I'm guessing this is a server problem? Anyone else having issues this morning?

    It's been like this since last night's emergency maintenance. Launcher takes a good two minutes just to download StartrekClient.manifest, load the game, login itself is instantaneous, but the character screen takes another five minutes to load the character information, click "Play" once it turns blue, then wait at a blank screen with a starfield for a minute before "connection to the login server timed out."

    At least I'm not alone! Hopefully the issue will be resolved by this evening. *fingers crossed*

    I'm having the same issue but I also got "Login failed with an unknown reason" since after the maintenance last night. But it seems to be only on the US side because Asia and Europe where having no issues last night after the maintenance. Now this morning I keep getting disconnected from the Login server, but I get to my character list and hit play after waiting forever to load and then it happens. They really need to fix this I'm a lifer and I can't even play right now.

    My launcher shows server is up but the launcher itself won't connect with most attempts seemingly hanging on the patching (before Engage button presents itself) or, on occasion, it will get the character selection screen and just time out. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher but that hasn't helped out either.

    I have the same problem. This morning I was able to get in once for a minute before the connection was lost. Now the launcher won't patch.

    You got further than I did :) And I just KNOW that all those DOFFs of mine are either running amok and burning through the bar supplies or completely slacking off on those assignments I gave them. Surely they aren't going to be motivated enough to just grab a few new assignments without specific directions from me. Slackers!

    Launcher's downloading StartrekClient.manifest at about 8K/sec. Did a speed test at broadbandreports and got 10.6Mbps down 2.1Mbps up so I know it's not on my end.

    Interestingly enough, everything Cryptic-centric is refusing to load - just attempting to browse their website has left Firefox in limbo for well over five minutes now, and a ping test on the patch server is yielding a lot of packets being dropped.
    Ping statistics for 208.95.185.41:
    Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 58, Lost = 42 (42% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 107ms, Maximum = 115ms, Average = 109ms

    Dang! I was hoping they would have this resolved by the time I got home from work tonight!

    Looks like I might have to be social instead. ;)

    I got a maybe work around fix for you all

    try putting in the options screen set a proxy that got me in
