Romulan Wish List/Bugs the need fixing

Ok now that Romulans have been out for a week I thought I'd compile a list of things I'd like to see added/changed and some annoying bugs that need squishing.

SUGGESTIONS
Costumes:
  • Costumes unlock for all RRF races (Reman clothes, helmets, hoods etc)
  • Give Remans a grey skin tone
  • Ability to hide capes from admiral shoulder armor
  • Different cape varieties

Traits
  • Give Liberated Borg Romulans access to basic versions of Romulan traits (also the trait screen lists my Borg Romulan as a human)

Ships
  • A proper Science Vessel (the Ha'Nom looks stupid from underneath). Add a SCI ship to captain level so RRF captains that want a Romulan ship aren't forced to fly the D'Deridex, make a T5 Refit with console bonus and make the T5 purchasable with a gold vet token
  • Give the Ha'Nom a costume varient where it has a 'filled in' lower hull
  • Additional costumes for T'Varo
  • RRF Timeship/Time Shuttle
  • RRF Captains Yacht (in game dialog indicates it will be coming)

Interiors
  • Z-Store bridge packs
  • Trophy placement (lounge & captains office)
  • Duty officer contacts actually on the ship
  • Bartender doesn't sell things
  • Romulan mission specific interiors (Observation lounge for Cold Call/Standoff etc)

Gear
  • RRF themed kit overlays
  • RRF Green line for Aegis set
  • RRF MACO/KDF visual gear (space and groud)
  • RRF Enviro suit (Z-Store like others) [CONFIRMED by DStahl]

Personnel
  • More RRF specific DOFF missions (also ones that reward RRF BOFFS) [BOFF MISSIONS IMPLEMNTED]
  • Reman BOFF's purchasable from command.
  • Cutting The Cord Reman Boff customization
  • Tac Team pets need a uniform update!

Missions
  • Not all daily Dilithium missions available
  • Specific RRF dailies
  • Change random crew hails to be RRF crew

Other
  • Let RRF players instantly tansport to command from anywhere on New Romulus (Mol'Rihan)



BUGS
Costumes:
  • Color palletes don't match between costume pieces
  • Fix costume clipping (when my toon jumps lines of flesh are visible on some torso areas)
  • Enviro suit bugs (heads disappearing & cape showing through) [FIXED]
  • Some Romulan costumes don't join up properly (when jumping you can see right through a thin area where to/pants meet up)

Traits
  • None (yet)

Ships
  • Valdore/Mogai Texture issues need fixing
  • Fleet Mogai doesn't implode in a singularity when it is defeated
  • FED/KDF warp effects sometimes appear when RRF ships warp out

Interiors
  • None (yet)

Gear
  • Plasma Charged Burst Assault gun primary fire is broken :(

Personnel
  • Let allied BOFFs train RRF BOFFs
  • FED/KDF personnel beaming down with security escort extra personal from DOFFs & nurse/medic DOSS hypo proc
  • Reman costume issues (no nails/borg reman boots color locked)
  • RRF DOFF Icons change to FED/KDF icons when they are slotted in missions [FIXED]
  • FED/KDF personnel use their faction respective transport beam up color instead of Romulan green
  • Random FED/KDF personnel on bridges

Missions
  • Some missions reference RRF toons as FED/KDF (Tau Dewa Sector Patrol feels silly when Mivek mentions your government is aiding New Romulus/her learning to work with outsiders). Also "The Return" makes NO SENSE as a Romulan
  • Borg Invasion missions cannot be handed in [FIXED]
  • Not all daily Dilithium missions available
  • Change random crew hails to be RRF crew
  • The Caustic Plasma Turret from the mission "Last Stand" appears as Mk IV regardless of what level you complete the mission at.

Other
  • Login screen for RRF play FED transporter sounds

Any comments/further additions welcome! :)

    Fix the bug that turns your head/hands invisible when you equip and EV-suit.

    Some of your ideas/requests would push the RRF into the realm of it's own complete faction. I have a feeling that, you'll see things like "their own Maco and KDF visual gear" show up when that becomes the truth.

    Here's a few issues, not game breaking but it would be nice to get them sorted.

    The Valdore ship model still needs its wing textures looking at as they disappear when viewed from certain distances/angles, leaving a plain white silhouette for wings (This can be easily seen in sector space at the Romulan Flotilla.

    I'm still seeing the impulse engine glow bleedthrough the tops of my Mogai's wings, ruining what is a really nice ship.

    There seems to be an issue with an invisible box around some Warbirds (especially the D'deridex) causing problems when trying to pass other ships (I've lost count of the number of times my Mogai looks like it's being humped by a passing D'deridex :P).

    Still can't use allied faction Boffs to train my Romulan Boffs (Stupid Federation Tac Android, you know the secrets of Torpedo Spread 3, now share them with my crew :P).

    Not sure if this is a Romulan bug or a general gameplay bug, but when I'm teamed with someone flying a Warbird I can hear the beep of their singularity charge going up and down. Them being cloaked or their distance away from me seems to make no difference (And no it wasn't my own I could hear, I was on my Fed toon in an Armitage).

    Give the rommies more boff missions, for rom boffs, in the doff system.

    Give us our own GO warpgate.

    Put us on our fleets leaderboard for contributions.

    Give us some romulan contacts for missions after the Elachi.

    Add warp cores/singularity cores to crafting. While im wishing, how about that crafting update.

    Unconfirmed: Deprogrammed isn't accessible despite completing the quest.

    As part of the eventual move of the Romulans towards being a full Faction, I'd like to see story arc dealing with the remnants of the RSE, even with Sela gone and the Tal Shiar on the ropes, there's still the Senate on Rator III (if Sela hasn't abolished it, but her traditionalist image makes that unlikely) and the planets loyal to it to deal with.

    Also some quests need to add more Romulan touches to them, in the "Standoff" mission on Bajor, my Warbird has a Federation observation room.

    BOFF
    • Fix the Borg Reman C-Store BOFF so it can wear faction specific uniforms.
    • Make the Reman reward BOFF from Cutting the Cord customizable.

    It's inconsistent in who it happens to. It does suck though and needs to get fixed. Wish I knew why it would affect others and not me though.

    It's under your passives on the character sheet. It's not a selectable trait. They may want to come up with a different term for it.

    For my contribution, it's mostly a Text-Bug Dump. I had more but apparently lost the file :(. Here seems as good a place as any to detail.


    Haakona: Has a problem of elevatoring to the roof of sector space when smaller ships are on top of it [when exiting to Sector Space from a map]. I imagine this to be very annoying for the smaller ships I keep ramming into the sector space ceiling.

    Generic NPCs from Bridge: Getting hails from my ship with generic federation people is really annoying. Also annoying is how they end up doing the fly-by text for Tovan if Tovan isn't in my away team.

    Cold Call: Observation Lounge scene
    This needs to be a Romulan Observation Lounge [and have Romulan Security Officers].

    Rescue Deferi Captives (Daily)
    Interactions need to reference being Romulan instead of just saying Starfleet [ Fed Aligned ]. Also, can probably change the 'sneaky' solution to be more Romulan smugness in flavor/description.

    Tau Dewa Sector Patrol (Daily)
    Turn in text with Mivek is as if you're not a Romulan. It's kind of weird for her to insult [maybe it's a case of Lib Borg trumping race check?] Romulan professionalism.

    Doff Mission Tau Dewa Sector, Track Romulan Fleet Movements.
    Probably should change this to say Track Tal Shiar Fleet Movements, so it makes sense when a Romulan does this DOFF mission.

    OMG that one is so odd. I remember first time it happened thinking "WTF why is a random Bolian on my ship?"

    the gain ship bug in the "neutral no more" mission. because of it, i am stuck there in "arrested development: mad:

    Here's a bug you might not have noticed.

    When you add a Doff to a doff mission suddenly no matter if you're KDF or Rom, all your doff have the fed visual in the doff mission window. Are they switching sides without informing me?!? :P

    Sometimes the shoulder pads are not in the tailor and sometimes they are.

    Making the helmets and hoods more universal.

    You're right I'd never noticed that, had to check and sure enough. Romulans have a reputation for treachery but still :P

    Reman skinn need a grey color palette
    Reman Boffs can not choose nails
    liberated Reman can not change the color of his boots

    Almost forgot these.

    When you warp out of a system, your warp trails are sometimes the colour of your ally rather then green.

    On the log in screen, although they fixed the transporter effects to Romulan the sound they make is Federation.

    There's a Starfleet Tac officer on my bridge despite my having more then enough Boffs to cover all the seating options.

    I know this might seem a bit trivial but I don't understand when I ally with the federation, when my fed boffs beam up to or off of the ship they have their own federation transporter that beams them while the rest of my crew uses the green Romulan transporter...it is very immersion breaking to even assume that we have two transporters installed in the ship, one for my Romulan crew and the other for my fed boffs...:rolleyes:

    I just think an option for RRF themed MACO/Honor Guard gear makes sense, similar to to current FED/KDF uniform variants you get when you choose a faction.

    Agreed. ... More so on the Boff training.

    Fix the primary fire of the Romulan Plasma Charged Burst Assault gun (Romulan vendor version from the Flotilla and New Romulus Command). The primary fire mode only fires forwards. It refuses to lock on to or hit enemy targets.

    I know this has been a long standing thing that has existed for as long as I can remember. I've been around since 2 months after launch and this has always driven me crazy. On the personal tray in space (not sure about ground), I wish that "Lock Tray" encompassed more than just keeping me from inadvertently moving items off the tray. It seems that the problem has gotten worse with the release of LoR. Now anytime I get a new ability it adds that plus all my weapons and boff abilities to the tray. I have a particular way I want it organized and wish it would remain that way. If there is a new ability, let me add it myself. "Lock Tray" should mean just that. Nothing gets added, removed, or re-arranged unless I unlock the tray and do it myself.

    I apologize if this has already been mentioned; I did not see it in the OP's updated post:

    Costume:

    Missing Primary Color Option: Some pieces (Romulan Klingon 2 Lower Pants) only have 3 color options, however, in order to change the base pant color, you need to find one with 4, color the first one, which will then disappear (but remain properly colored) when you switch back.

    Color Linking: On my captain, I have the Romulan Klingon 2 Vest and Undershirt. I am able to independently color these two pieces. However, on my BOffs, the first color of the Undershirt automatically changes the second color on the Vest, and vice versa. I am unable to mimic the color scheme my captain wears because of this. This bug is not exclusive to these two pieces.

    Not being able to train allied crew on New Romulus (or Romulans on allied home world) is straight up annoying, my Captain not being able to train allied Boffs with skills she's unlocked is just outright stupid.

    And my bloody liberated borg captain can't change the colour of her shoes unless she picks neutral romulan ones. Ally Romulan, and any that are available to other races like short boots are stuck on black.

    I'm sure somewhere this has been already posted but it seems to be still not fixed.
    Romulans doing Borg Alerts are still unable to turn them on after completion, I myself have 3 such and I know of other's with at least as many if not more Borg Alerts they cannot turn in.

    this is an annoying bug that needs to be addressed as promptly as possible.

    Yup it sure is, hoping when the next patch is deployed it's fixed!
