I was on Nimbus III and doing the episode 'The Undying' and entered the stronghold. I ended up in a room with a bar and dance floor and needed to talk to Hassan.

I saw THIS dancing in front of a pole on the dance floor.

There's females playing this game as well you know. They do enjoy seeing a nice sixpack and whatnot!

It is a peculiar phenomenon that we can imagine events that defy the laws of the universe.

The only thing that makes that better, the dude sitting in-front of him there. If you give it enough time, he'll eventually say something like 'I think I'm in love'. I fell out of my chair, hilarious.

Least it wasn't a naked Nichelle Nichols dancing in the moonlight.:

.....as she appears now, that was even rough in STV

Believe me there are things much much worse then a 3d model dancing in a speedo.

I think they're fans of Electric Six

Also, it's about time the game about the equal opportunity space future actually starts to show some equality in it's perviness. If I had my way I'd have random species up on the stage. This time humans, next playthrough, Gorn.

Don't be so homophobic, :P (j/k) plenty of TRIBBLE men play this game, like me. I for one, commend Cryptic on their attempts to integrate that in the future, nobody will care about people's sexuality. It was what Gene said on the matter. "By the 24th Century, nobody will care about sexuality, it will be a personal choice."

    Good call Cryptic

I think he just found it funny :)

What does disturb me a bit however is the fact that the strippers pull a weapon and attack you.

What kind of stripper attacks an armed band of fighters, and where in Q's name did they pull their guns out from?
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

i think its a good move from cryptic. there are females playing, and also bi or TRIBBLE people enjoying star trek. roddenberry future vision was one of a humankind without hate. he even made a dress for a man , which appears in one of the tng season one episodes i think.

so nealry halfnaked orion girls are okay, which are used a sex slaves (ENT lore now disregarding)

but a half naked dude is not? grow up.

I'm happy with the old "live and let live" Idea, but I do hope we dont start getting TRIBBLE rights marches Happening in the Social areas Like Drozana and DS9! lol

But human rights for all (what you so tellingly term "TRIBBLE rights") are a given, at least in the Federation, in the 25th century. There's no more need to march for them than there's any need to march for equal rights for, say, Bolians.

Agreed, Bolians should have the right to dance topless in bars too.

Let me fix that for you...
But equal rights for all sapients (what you and the Federation so tellingly term "human rights") are not a given in the 25th century. There is a need to march equal rights for, say, Bolians.

Or is the Federation a Humanity-fan-club? Maybe we should blame Cryptic and PWE for blatantly favoring their human players, just because humans make up >85% of the player base. Sheesh.

when i see that almost nude dancing man i always come back thinking; when you see the world for what it is today, love, any love is better then ending up on the receiving end of pain and misery that is being inflicted all too often on one another. i used to be homophobic but i no longer consider that at all any longer. so if you talk to that drooling alien male sitting on the chair watching that man dancing when he points out the direction. at least there is no pretense about it.

but just because i am happy to see something like this in sto doesnt mean i want a whole chapter dedicated to it in the near future, love is fine, but it should remain a private thing or as close as since i doubt anyone wants to know about someone elses sexual affairs in details.

Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
