AVAST is seeing crypticerror.exe as a virus

  Yeah, it's a false positive. Very annoying, because you can't ignore the warning.

  It is happening here too. If anyone knows a way to work around it, please let me know.

  I turned AVAST! off for about 10 seconds, and it patched. Then I turned it back on. Seems to work.

  Yeah I can't get avast to exclude it which is now a pain in the rear.

  I excluded the Cryptic folder from scanning: Settings -> Global exclusions -> File path

  AVG is fine Avast i dont like it for that main reason.Avast is too dam picky.:rolleyes:
