game wont go

game crashing just after cryptic load screen .wish I could play.done the patch in safe mode that work out good but now crash after crash after crash after........... waiting for a fix sigh:(:mad:confused::(

    By crash do you mean "server not responding"?

    doesnt even say that, just crashes then pops up with that 'write what happened' bug reporter

    Don't worry your not the only one, there's already a thread about it. Had this problem since the new patch came out... it just crashes at LOR loading screen. I saw that there was an update this morning and I thought that it had fixed the problem since it stayed at the loading screen for about 10 seconds longer.. but then just it just crashed again :( Hope this is fixed soon.

    Well here's hoping our very small pool of people with this issue get's it fixed before the weekend aye? :)

    I managed to get on. But their latest patch is creating the same issue again.

    This is clearly a STO error and not an operating system error. I have since tweeted them again and sent in a ticket. I suggest YOU ALL send in a ticket. Only way to get our issue noticed.

    i send a tickes(few actuay)and thi came to my inbox:''Your question has been received. Due to high ticket volumes at this time, we will respond to your question as soon as possible'' will back in a few hours and see what's going on

    Yeah I've sent a couple of tickets also. It took me several attempts as that was crashing too :rolleyes:

    I am new to the game and have not been able to get through tutorials yet due to constant disconnects. I tried a few toons, but none have been able to progress through the tutorials yet! Now every time I log in, it disconnects...can't even load a toon anymore!? Please fix this already! At this point the game is not even playable!

    I tried to contact a GM, left a message, then it says there is over a million in que before my ticket gets looked at...Really???

    I also tried tweeting, but have gotten no answer...

    :mad:

    BTW- the login que is absolutely rediculous!!!!

    "Small sea" -- LOL. I expect to see Kevin Costner float by us at any moment and shout, "Waterworld!"
    Heck, I'd even settle for a chance to land on Gilligan's Island if it had access to the STO exchange!

    I'm floating in lock-out limbo with y'all, third day of no game access from an existing function that had nothing to do with new game content. (Shaking my head in disbelief.)

    Ive been gone from STO for a while due to new games and what not for my console comming out. now that i wanna play i got fully patched and get into the game for all of 45 seconds and then it crashes to the desktop. then i go to log back in an cant even get off the earth spacedock loading screen. gets to 97% and then crashes again...

    I just read you got to update your video drivers to get the launcher to work. I should start taking bets on how many of us with launcher problems will be forced to buy new video cards in order to get the game to launch with the new update.
