    Meh, I'm not sure why I was expecting to actually be able to play today. This seems to be the norm in MMOs these days.

    WHY is cryptic not capable of INCREASING the bloody capacity on a launch week?

    WHY?

    can someone explain? elaborate?

    plus: so, when do you think will they announce an emergency maintenance and shut the game down? a hour? two?

    Well it looks like someone was looking after me reading these files. Thought "Should I try to log on and start the patch?" and boom my electric meter puts its' little digital display into the air, they don't have feet, and died.

    This was around 3pm BST, I know and hour in but thought I'd give it a try as I have had patches before the game servers were up in other games. Down side it was gone 11pm before I havd a new meter fitted and had light again.

    hms2k4 being a nit optimistic there aren't you I'm going for 30/5 at the earliest. :D

    Seriously, How can there be an "unknown reason?"

    Server disconnect..?

    Sever hardware failure..?

    General ineptitude..?

    Forgetting to feed the Hamsters..?

    Seriously, If it told me "log in failed due to exhausted Hamsters", I wouldn't mind as much as I do.
    Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?

    I have tried logging in to the game and keep getting "Login failed for unknown reasons" right as it is trying to bring up my character list...

    PW just cant do things right ... lazy TRIBBLE ... I bet they are giving update files straight form game servers LOL :doh:

    I have been having the same problem...

    Tried exiting and reloading game, tried rebooting my computer just in case. Neither worked. Maybe there's a build-up in the developer's plasma injection manifold? I would recommend decompiling the spectrometer and infusing it with gamma particles.
