This video may not tell you anything new, or anything that you already didn't know about Windows 7 split screen shortcuts, but I've put it out there in the hopes it helps at least someone. I will add it to the first post of the Klingon Fleet Chart which I will upload later in the week.
Many apologies for the quality of the audio in this video, I went out and bought a new microphone that ended up being worse than the one I already had. If anyone can recommend a make and model I will consider buying it in case I do any more tutorials.
I dont know what I am doing wrong, but I still have trouble opening the pic.
None of my 8 different graphic viewers/programms can handle the pic proper.
Some can't open it (I get an erros message about the file code) and like with Quick Time Viewer the pic is stretched.
Irfan View can open it, but the zoom function is terrible.
Gimp can open it, but it takes a horrible time and it slows my pc very much. The program even can't handle the moving around in the picture without slowing down very much.
I converted the pic with Irfan View to a smaller volume down to about 5 MB, but still not better.
Looking at the last SpiderMitch pic, that is about 9 MB and opens without problems in the Windows Picture Viewer.
Starfish, the latest Chart is awesome! I especially love the LCARsyness of it. The video is also neat/informative.

I will upload the Klingon Starship Chart when I get back from work. I was still working on it yesterday, but I did use a draft version of it in the video.
It's only the fleet ships to begin with, and it will have a thread of it's own, so I can keep all the suggested corrections together with the chart itself.

I'm really sorry to hear that you are having issues with opening the chart. My PC is Windows 7 and about 3 years old now, and it's opening with the Windows Photo Viewer that came on the computer. I can't see what version my Windows Photo Viewer is, it doesn't seem to say.
I know you can't use MS Paint to open it anymore, because it's too big now to open with that program. So when I do a new version I basically have to rebuild it section by section.
My chart is considerably larger than Spidermitches though, owing to the amount of ships now available, so I'm not surprised it will open that one but not mine.
I am uploading the Klingon chart when I get back from work this evening, it's about half the size of this Fed one, so see if you can open that one. If you can, I might have to do a version of the Fed chart split in two for you.

Yes, I am continuing with the KDF chart, though it won't be as big as the Fed one as there are far fewer ships. I have to say - If anyone has issues opening the large Fed chart, please say, and I will split it into two smaller sections, it really is no trouble for me to do that, and I will do it at the next update.

I only use MS Paint and MS Word. Word to create the ship frame with the stats, which I then screen dump into Paint, crop and then copy and paste it into the larger rank block, which is again in Paint. I then assemble the rank blocks to make a new version (which is all I need to do tomorrow to complete the KDF chart).

Thanks for the offer of help, I really appreciate it. I have considered adding in the rank to each ship specifically for the card printing idea, and also for a screensaver too. I don't know when I would get around to it, but I would need to add the rank into each frame first before doing either of those things.

Well I was bored so I started putting you ship charts into word in a 3x3 pattern, it worked great except for one thing, not printable. Due to the fact it's a black background it 1. uses too much ink and 2. not easaly visible once printed
I am wondering if those who use this chart (and the others) think that maybe I should now have one thread for all three factions now that the charts are complete.
If you agree with this, where on the forums do you think would be best for me to put the combined chart thread? I am open to suggestions.

I actually have used several of these as screen savers in the past, 1920 x 1200 res.
Anyway, Gimp works too, but.. it needed about a minute to open it, and my pc was on the edge of collapsing, so I had to close it.
