Hey Idrona, one thing I particularly noticed. There is a scanning mechanic that will point you to either the closest interactable object or crafting anomaly.

That could have helped you find your way around, particularly in some of my missions.

Yes true, thanks for reminding me. It seems that the longer I've been playing the more I try to rely on the Force alone.
*Makes mental note.*
Oh and also, it seems I'm about to run out of missions.

Once I get a few more missions I'll be back at it again.

Hey I can't find your mission or you as Author in the Foundry (this is why I need the IDs).
It's my first attempt at creating a mission with the foundry and I learned as I went.
Still, there seems to be no game-breaking bugs with it. It was just posted, so there's zero plays at the time of this writing. I figured that I would advertise it here since the forum won't allow me to create a new thread.
The mission has a bit of everything because as I said, I used it to learn the editor.
Puzzles, combat and lots of dialogue etc. If you decide to play and don't enjoy it, please
let me know. Otherwise I won't get any better at creating missions.
Just published my first mission: A time to search Fed 16+ . It is still under review but if you wanna give it a try it needs 15 plays to be in the listings. It has some nice custom maps if your into that kind of thing and some humor and puzzles.
A TIME TO SEARCH: ENTER MY FOUNDRY MISSION at the RISA SYSTEM Parallels: my second mission for Fed aligned Romulans.
So I've played another bunch of your missions, an interesting bunch.
And I'm gonna try write a few thoughts I have about them..
Bazag, Your missions are pretty solid and it was fun to meet "Bob" again.
I really liked Memory Lane, and managed to finish Ghosts of the Polmar Ree somehow, though it forced me to think. *head hurts*
Capt.PFDennis, Your mission was great with story and combat, but felt bit unpolished. I think if you watch the video you see what I mean.
lincolninspace, If that was your first mission I want to see what you do next. It was fun and innovative I think, but you could make it better by polish it. And add more directions.
And last but not least, solastrius, 2 hours and 45 minutes game play is too much for a Foundry mission I think.
I don't mind long missions if I can leave and save the progress. If this was my mission I'd split it into 2 missions. Otherwise it was great, with lots of cool details in it.
General advice for all of you would be to try give better directions in your missions, noobs like me get lost so easy. And rename the Foundry assets, so it doesn't say "Alien Male 03" for example.
Youtube version of 'Picking up the Pieces' was removed, but the other is working fine.
Thank you so much for playing! I can tell it's going to take awhile to get a mission fully published on the foundry. I've been trying to do my part and review as well, but it seems there's more authors than reviewers at times. Just having one or two people get enjoyment out of something I built has made the entire effort worthwhile, though.
I think you're absolutely right about the length and I have decided to make future missions a lot more concise. I'll probably work my next project to have more exciting things to do toward the end. It was interesting to watch someone else play without previous knowledge of everything or a 'kill all' button for encounters. It revealed quite a few minor things I need to improve upon.
As for clear directions, I had to pull out numerous objectives before publish due to reaching the maximum limit before I could make the last two maps. Of course, if the mission were shorter that would not have been an issue. Doing things in parts would also mean a story could go on for as long as I like.
Thanks again for the play-through and the advice. Now I just have to decide if I want to withdraw and republish or endeavor to create a new, superior mission...

It was my pleasure.
Can't you leave it up there for the time being and also split it onto 2 at the same time?
Had I known truly the length of the missions (not only yours) in that batch I probably would have split my playing too. lol
Like I said, I don't mind long missions in any game really. But I think for the Foundry and to please as many players as possible 1, 1 1/2, 2 hours tops is what I'd aim for. Just my personal thoughts.
Thanks for the great video. I have polished the mission up some since your play through and your video showed me some issues I was unaware of. Glad you enjoyed the mission I wanted it to be anything but run of the mill.

Yep, it was my pleasure. Glad that these videos seems to work like intended too.
And now that I've listened to the latest The Foundry Roundtable, I have to say that I agree with most of their thoughts about your mission.
I now that you've played now I guess you know why I had the option for the character already knowing VA Talar in More Than Just Missing.
I have to admit Bob is the favourite character I've created just for the foundry. No way I could ever create him as a real PC or even an NPC but I loves him and I will be definitely create more with him in the future. Maybe in some temporal shenanigans or where you have to infiltrate a base, any just some ideas but Bob will certainly be back.
Also re:Ghosts of the Polmar Ree... Mission Accomplished

Yeah, guess some missions should've been played in a different order.. but they still worked well I think.
As I write this I have an idea for a possible BOB sequel. PM'ing you the crazy idea.
Looking forward to play more of your missions, even if they sometimes cause me a headache. :P
That is an interesting idea... I was planing on doing a sequel to my KDF Bob mission (Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey) that could set the scene for that idea so it's certainly something that could happen.
I can't say if it will happen as I already have plenty of ideas and stories that I want to tell that I haven't had the opportunity yet to say but you very well might see it in the future.

Well, guess I'll have to make a KDF eventually so I can try them out then.
Submitted for your testing and feedback (and hopefully for your amusement) My first attempt at the foundry: "Reenactment of Operation Return" ST-HMOGXT5W6 by me @cultleaderxx
Please play in a group as it is designed as a multiplayer mission not for solo play.
I'd be happy to play in a group with anyone who invites me to it.

Hey I can't find your mission or you as Author in the Foundry (this is why I need the IDs).
Thanks for the mission, and I were about to start do it until I read the text:
"Solo RP. Heavily story oriented and playtime is roughly 90 minutes."
Since I already have 3 missions with no combat from Bazag,
I'll wait for a few more missions (combat hopefully) to do inbetween.
