It was my pleasure, I did find them amusing.
Let me know when you finish part 3 if you want me to play that too.
These videos have so far had a bit more viewing than I expected, nothing major but still they get views on both Twitch and YouTube. Haven't had much of live viewers that I know of, one guy came in to chat and shouted "Lol TRIBBLE stream!" but that's about it.
I guess if I wanted to have tons of viewers live I should hire a hot blonde to sit infront of a webcam, singing false.. It doesn't matter though, what matters is that you Foundry authors get some exposure to your missions and that I have a fun time playing them, and I do.
I will get to it again later this week and are planning on trying to catch up to this thread before the end of next weekend.
Played 4 more of your missions, and liked them all.
As "usual" I won't review much in text, but have a few thoughts on these.
stardestroyer001, I went senile and brought the Vesta into your mission, but it worked out decent. One thing that annoyed me was the timers in the shuttle during travel. lol Perhaps it wouldn't have if I weren't recording. I liked when the Tholians dropped on me, is that part even beatable? :P
ashtaku, I actually restarted your mission once. I didn't really get the part that I could take left and use EV suits, and went right with EV suits the first time. And then when I got mission objective to beam out I beamed out (by the beam up button). >.> It was alot smoother in the recorded version though.
marhawkman, Your mission worked better this time around, since you fixed that shipstuck thing. The crew still had problems following me on the map though.
admiralburk, Your mission was long and challenging = I liked it. And YouTube refuses to make it HD it seems so I'm probably gonna redo it, but faster.
I made one which has been well received. I still cant figure out how to get dilith to drop from it but otherwise people seem to like it. I still want to make a couple improvements to it before sending it to Cryptic however. If you are interested the name is: Capital Ship Combat Simulation. My user name is: @.Spartan
I also made a KDF port for it but the port while much better visually and design wise still needs lot of work in my opinion.
If you are looking for an excellent PvE fleet consider: Omega Combat Division today.

Hi idrona
It is great to read that you enjoyed the mission, sorry the length has caused you a bit of a problem.
The quality of the video was great at my end and the soundtrack was good listening thank you.
If you do find the time to re-run it a couple of points I noticed that would help shorten the length - on map one- it is possible to enter the portal without engaging the Borg.
Map 4 (the fleet battle) The initial battle your confronted with when entering the map is optional.
Thank you so much for giving me some of your time.
Best regards

Hey, it was my pleasure.
I see that YouTube finally finished processing and made it HD afterall.
I'm glad you liked the video and music, and I will play next part probably later today or tomorrow.
If the video for any of you who made these missions is blocked, remember they are also on Twitch.tv.
Yeah, about the Boff pathing... the only way to fix it is to rebuild the entire starbase on a different map.... sorry, but too much work. It's a flaw in the base map that I used and the only way to get around it is to use a different base map.
Please let me know if anything can be improved. Thanks!
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.
-Captain James T. Kirk
Sure, I'll put forth a couple of mine. I've got a few series which could be a big time investment, but there are a few standalones you may enjoy. My handle is @Capt.PFDennis. I hope you like them. Thanks
Played another batch of your uber Foundry missions.
This time I almost got stuck in a sea of aggro Borg (not necessarily in a bad sense), and got lost on Vulcan among other things.
amahood, I liked your missions, they seemed well built and gave good directions. I like to know what I'm gonna do and where to TRIBBLE.. err I mean, go next.

Hey, post your own favorites, or some missions you think deserves more attention and I'll give them a go.

I'm glad you enjoyed them! LOL I hoped people would get a laugh out of some of it.
I'm also happy that the directions were good. One of the most important things I noticed, when trying out other foundry missions, were how some of them didn't give much clear direction.
So I've made it important for myself to remember, to put Alot of Clear directions so no one has to get frustrated wondering what to do or where to go next.

It was my pleasure. Can only think of 1 thing that I'd check if it were my missions, that is the NPC names.
Mission Name:
Just Another Uneventful Day
Author Name:
Tepeu
No Level Requirements
You are sent to pick some cargo up from the Imaga system and wait for further orders.
The mission has some ground and space combat. takes 25-30 minutes if you read the dialogue. You might die if you don't read the dialogue.
I (just now) watched some videos you made of the missions, and you did a great job! I also like the music as well.
It's neat to take a look at a full video of some of the missions.
Thanks, and yes it is.
About the NPC names, think I saw some of them in your missions that looked to have generic Foundry names and that's what I meant. I could be wrong though.

Ok that's cool. I wouldn't be surprised if you are correct about that. I'll try to watch out for that in future Episodes I create.
I see you have been roughing up my Borg again
Thank you again for taking the time to play my foundry mission, it is appreciated.
Actually in watching the video I noticed a few issues that needed attention on this one so will e giving those some attention.
The time you have dedicated to this post of yours has been a great help to me and im sure others who have posted here.
The videos give a great insight to what the foundry can do and the different approaches people take in using it.
So as Shekaris would say its been great watching you work.

Wow, thank you for that great comment.
You describe pretty much exactly what I had hoped would start to come out from this.
Actually I've started to watch them a bit myself, and I too learn (I hope) from watching my mistakes in gameplay. And also it helps watching what is played to check on stuff I wanted to comment on a mission etc.
I'm also well aware that some of these videos could be made better gameplay wise, but I kinda want to show what might happen in your missions the first time someone plays them.

Finally was able to get around to watching the videos. Thanks for the plays and I'm glad you enjoyed them.
Damn Vulcans pulling tricks on people. FYI. If you took the Vulcoden from the medkits you could take it back to the prisoners and use it for the couples or give it to the monks.

Managed to do a few of your missions last night, it was that or sleep and sleep is boring.
I hate spiders and don't care much for tribbles, yet I enjoyed these missions.
.Spartan, I had really fun in your combat simulation, it felt kinda the space version of the Ultimate Deathmatch - By cmdraftbrn.
Bazag, like I said before, your missions feel like they come from the mission factory or something. And the ship name Bazalope-D made me chuckle for unknown reason.
Thanks. I still want to make some more changes as well as figure out why it gives no dilithium yet before I submit it to Cryptic.
Some said the ending was too hard before so I adjusted the timing and mobs.
I did a Klingon version with more of a RP value for that side if you are interest. Just do a search for my name. Thanks again for the feedback.
It was my pleasure.
And also I might add that if I ever wanted to grind for EC/loot I'd probably grind this and other action packed Foundry missions. I also noticed I need a bigger inventory doing this. lol

Had a great time playing them though I got confused a few times (shouldn't do this while tired), and ran into/over a few glitches.
Also, sorry for skipping some dialog, but let's call that "teaser".
Hopefully the video quality is slight better on these videos.

Hi Bazag,
Yes I did enjoy those missions, but I'm not done with yours. Have a few more to play that you posted.
Those I've played so far felt "old and sturdy" somehow, almost like they were a part of Cryptic's missions.
I will play another batch of Foundry very Soon(tm).
