Severs can be in a "cluster" basically many PC's acting like one....and they could have all games running on the same cluster set....a recipe for trouble if you ask me...but then again....there is no telling how much computer capacity they actually have without them telling us....sigh
Actually I have the answer, it's 13 MB and a very tired partridge that used to be in a pear tree.

I second the Free Veteran BOFF vouchers for waiting patiently.
As for all the servers going down at the same time, I assume Redshirts, Tribble and Holodeck are all virtual servers being run off the same equiment, anyone know if this is really the case?
It's network, anything attached to it will be affected
Jamal : Tactical space specialist. USS Bug Warrior and many others
E'Mc2 : Science Reman torp T'Varo, deadly annoyance :P
Kunmal: Tactical fed Klingon, ground specialist, USS Kanewaga
Ka -tet Tier 5 fleet fully completed Starbase and fleet property
Actually I think the Borg blew up the servers in revenge for all the times they got their butts kicked and for bein put on the back burns for the Romulan and Tholian content.

More than likely.
Hell, the sole improvement from this time last year is that at least these days the forums manage to stay up most of the time during these outages. Used to be that when one thing went down, it all went down, and no one knew a damn thing until it came back up.
They're doing this so the subliminal not so subliminal add at the top of each page gets you to purchase a legacy pack while you wait for the servers to return. It's a plot I tell you, a PLOT!!!
Not a Romulan plot, mind you, as I would have been involved with it, but a PLOT I tell you.
What's that you say? The Tal Shiar are at my door...
Ignore everything I just said. There are no plots here.

If I wasn't going to spend $125 before, THIS makes me even LESS LIKELY...
It was fun to play Netrek when I was on, even against the bots. Surprisingly, it isn't that big of a program to host. I had a copy running on my Linux system. Those were the days.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled downtime thread.
Because its all on the same backbone? Just a guess.
This ain't PSN...
We have found it: General Server Stability. We are strong now...
More than likely.

except this is cryptic, they don't do that. you're playing a pay to win game, so fork over some cash and go win.

yeah but it won't be as much fun:cool:
Pick your superstition sit back make a wish and Enjoy yourself
Ah, it's great to be young and insane!
it could be a blade cluster....server cluster...etc...no way to know their computing capacity unless they tell us...and that will never happen...
Yeah, that was petty silly, comparing PWE to Sony.
PWE will reward you for this downtime, with the added opportunity to grind more and harder in the future!

Somewhere else exists?... I'm scared... *hides under blanket* There's too much!
