Is Steam being awful for anyone else?

More so than usual, I mean.

It's updated four times in the last four hours for me and I'm pretty sure it's the same update over and over.

Some of us don't have infinite bandwidth to TRIBBLE away on this nonsense.

    i always had issues with steam messing up my install i just installed sto without steam no more issues ever again
    sorry i am not more help but sto and steam never really played nice with each other

    I've don't think I've ever had a problem with Steam messing up my STO install, and I've been playing via Steam client since open beta, using at least 2 different computers in that time frame. I don't know if I'm the lucky one or if the people who do have problems are just unlucky.

    the steam version of STO preventing my husbands login from working 8 times, it even gave him a false message that he didn't have a PWE account so we fiddled with that.

    So we decided to uninstall it entirely and start over. no luck yet as we're still downloading it.
