Game launcher takes for ever to get going

- The game launcher gets up , I punch in my code and hit the button and then I wait and wait and a 4+ minute song goes by and I'm still waiting .
Eventually after 5-7 minutes the game "get's going" .
I have 'on demand patching' disabled and have rotated all my 3 proxy options , without results .

It has been this way since the last two days or so .

Thanks . :)

Been Their done all that then

Finally got my system to work after 2 weeks. here is the weird thing I did.

    1. After Downloading and re-installing the game.
    2. Move all your files from the old location (If the Files that worked were in another location.
    3. Patch and Verify files on Holoeck
    WAIT DON'T LOG-ON YET
    3. Patch and Verify files on Tribble
    4. Log-in to Tribble
CHECK OUT THE AWESOME NEW LOG-IN SCREENS.
    5. Log-Out of Tribble
    6. Log-in to Holodeck
    7. And Your back in the Game.

Trouble with launcher patch searching to long? Try:

Click ''Options'' top right corner of launcher. Mark ''Disable On-demand patching''. Can also choose ''Fast launch'' though not recommended.

If you choose to disable patching you will need to do it manually when ever a patch rolls out.

And BTW, have you tried not to have a proxy going aelfwin1? Not to mention done a tracert to rule out basic connection issues? You could try rebooting your modem if not done it already. Call your ISP to hear if they can find any troubles along the way. Most ISP's are friendly enough to help out to test the connections if you provide the IP's you're having troubles with.
