I was a little disappointed going in expecting more glorious battle against the Federation but only getting House of Targ.
Tried it to see how my level 50 Starship dealt with a Starfleet Battleship and I get just a bunch of Klingon ships that were probably built when Kirk was still on his 5-year journey based on how quickly they went down. Personally, I see this as an opening mission for a decent story arc.
Although, the option to choose which enemy to fight against seemed interesting and could open up for some really interesting missions that aren't completely scripted.

You actually got Klingon ships?
I encountered a JH Heavy Escort and a Galor.
The text still said they were House of Torg ships...maybe the House of Torg bought a few lockboxes or something.
It makes we hard we are still in 2409 for the last 3 years and seems we will not push the hand of the clock forward anytime soon.
Do you know "M*A*S*H"? 11 seasons about an army hospital during the Korean War...which lasted a little over 3 years.;)
This phenomenon is nothing new actually.

A lot of MMOs do it, I remember Star Wars Galaxies started at launch just after A new hope timeline wise, 8 years later at the games shutdown it was still in the exact same time frame.

Wasn't paying too much attention to them so they could be Klingons or something else. Said they were House of Torg so assumed they were Klingon ships. Got a couple of waves of minions and one lieutenant class enemy.

They were Klingons for me too, most Raptors.

Seriously looking forward to this, and I will create a new Ferasan engineer and a Gorn, plus a Romulan.
3 years, and its finally seems to be arriving, but is it real? lol
I am thinking of buying a Ferasan for this new content. Never was much of a Catian or Ferasan fan but the new trait system makes it more feasible to fun species other than Joined Trill and Alien.
I just hope they throw in a re-species trait at some point so I can change a couple of my Alien and Joined Trill characters to another species. A bit of diversity would be nice. Too much invested in them to just delete them a re-start.
It's great to see some new content unique to the KDF, I just hope this will be the start of new trend where factions will get unique content (except endgame I can understand that one).
