faith in cryptic has been the same since all the little lies and misshaps they have done since headstart. not visible at the slightest. Reason I never got my hopes up to begin with reguarding the "first expasion* because I was honestly waiting for the twist, or the "sorry we didnt get that done thatll come in a few patches later" mentality.
I doubt ill ever be surprised by cryptic any time soon
payed to play for a year or two, spent hundreds of dollars on slots and ships and races ect... and cant find em since i started playing again a few days ago..lol and cant get anything but generic automated replies to my questions, nope, no faith in cryptic at all.
I started playing this game last August as a silver player and I am pretty impressed. Free ships, Free uniforms, The Foundry. All great stuff! And now a new f2p faction. We are getting customizable huds and new hairstyles. Cryptic listens to the playerbase.

I can find things that I enjoy still as well. I am also glad that the game still excites you as much as it did me.I just think there is a large Romulan fanbase whose built up dreams of their own independent faction getting crushed, would disagree at the moment. However you are right, if you dont mind the endless grind, and putting in the time, everything here is free.:
that's weird. A lot of KDF "whiners" warned you something like this might happen.
A lot of those same KDF players were saying that we were being whiners for jumping the gun on the criticism, or for having the gall to complain when the KDF didn't have everything it wanted. I guess we can't win either way, huh?

Faith again.. not there, sorry to say.
Dealing with cryptics devs and sometimes here on the Froum as well, feels most of the time like standing trial and dealing with lawyers. Every word gets weighted and twisted while the devs always seem to deliberately trying to twist Star Trek into something it really isnt.
Not to speak of the constant changes to the game system, patchwork repairs of faulty game mechanics while avoiding anything that would make the game into more Trek like. (althrough it wouldn't be that hard at all.)
This and countless disappointments over the years have killed anything even remotley similar to "faith" in them. Most of the time i should be amused about their absurd try to put Star Trek into a cheap MMO mold, but it really makes me upset, because of the possibilities they miss.
So i am not very exited about the upcoming Romulan faction at all.
If they can't even get the most iconic ships in Star Trek to work as they should, what should i expect them to make with the Romulans?

I will never ever trust any Cryptic Dev or other official. They mistreated my favourite faction for more than 3 years now and that I will never forget or forgive
Lack of fixing important bugs is weighing hard on me.
They won't work on the fixes and I won't stop bringing them up, and neither backing down from that position, is basically where we are at.
They made the right call to make it a f2p game and that does sort of give them a green light but it's also a feeling that if you do what they want, stop bringing up stuff that needs to be fixed, you are promoting indifferent behaviour.
Trust I don't know, probably they don't like my decisions and I don't like theirs.
I am just amazed this game is still running, let alone adding another faction. I barely play but I will mess around with the Romulans once they launch.
And still plugging along! I love to log in every few years and get all my cool free stuff! All the new episodes were great I love that they got the voice actors from several series.

Faith in Cryptic doing what they do best?

So much wrong in that sentence.
But - I'm very happy you enjoy the game

Though, I mean, really, this is just how things go. It's a Cryptic game. Even when you "get what you want" you really don't get what you wanted.
yep have to agree I now fell let down again

Your heresy against the Flying Spaghetti Monster has been noted.
But I doubt His Noodliness has any faith in Cryptic either.
I would have said the same thing, but with more ellipses.
