A REAL MACO set!

So most of us already know that the devs already have real MACO skins and equipment from the Enterprise era created and all ready to go, yet for some reason these haven't been released into the game yet, I'd like this thread to be signed by fellow fans to show the devs team (politely) to please add these items and uniform options in game, hopefully free, or as unlocks in the Omega rep store once tier 5 has been reached! Or add a canon maco pack as a free unlock for us when we hit tier 5 omega since they've already finished the work? Who's with me!

    When you say we know they are created and ready to go, how do you know this? Did they say, was there a leaked pic?

    If they have made them, then they intend to release them and there is a reason why the have not done so yet, so its just a case of being patient until they turn up.

    They've been around for quite some time and yes there is proof. Some people on here have screenshots I've seen them, unfortunately I forgot to save the pic!

    well i buy any uniform options they throw out, can never have enough of them, and i like the MACO uniforms from ENT, so: /signed

    Perhaps adding them as a Z store 550 zen unlock like all other costumes but also include them in the ENT bundle. Make it so anyone who has bought the ENT bundle has them retroactively added too. Though I would also love a level less maco rifle too so it would make more sense to stick it in the ENT bundle.

    No just give it to us for free. We deserve a little reward after all the loyalty and grinding. Seriously.

    that aint going to happen unless you put 20 odd green stippers in the devs office.

    out best bet is for a 550-700 zen for an account unlock.

    Wait, what how? I seen the textures in the game files, but how did you get them in game? Texture swapping?

    There are TOS Romulan uniforms in there too.

    Might be another license problem like having to wear the wrong prefix and winter coat jacket replica on the rom faction.

    I don't see how it's a licensing issue, it's just a costume option. I'd like to know where those screenies came from too :P glad to see the thread getting a lot of love!

    CBS says no for... some reason or the other, so Cryptic can't put it in the game. Mind, I'm not convinced about the winter coat replica jacket thing being for that reason - it has been said, but if someone consistently ignores people asking for a source, then frankly I'm not going to be inclined to trust that person's information.

    Well I'd like to be wrong and see the real romulan outfits in the game - I think they are sort of laughable but at least they are authentic and look way better than the winter coat replica.

    I don't have a quote from CBS saying they don't want this or that in the game.

    If they could build the original, real romulan faction why wouldn't they. I don't think a watered down non-licensed version would be the first choice unless forced.

    I don't see why that'd be when they let the enterprise uniforms and the nx class in the game.

    unless i've missed something I dont think CBS have said no to the ent maco yet.. for all we know cryptic could be holding it back for a big zen release of stuff.

    None of that stuff works on the T5 level like the OP's suggestion. Not even Admiral Komack, my avatar. Read the original post. He wants 22nd Century MACO equipment as a T5 MACO rep unlock.

    That seem logical to you folks? If 22nd Century MACO gear can be used effectively at T5, then, I mean, that just opens the door for madness. Like a T5 TOS Connie.

    i've done a few stfs with a type 3 phaser in a redskirt... so... if it works for that the ent macos can do it no problem.

    I say give them the MACO gear set from ENT!

    I mean, who doesn't want to run around with a Mk I shield, phaser, and armor?

    Looks cool.
    Would also like a Phase Pistol to go with the Ent uniforms at some point.

    This is from a sig I found from another forum user cosmic1, I think it sums up canon very nicely:

    "STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game."

    I know you were joking by the way and you want that T5 connie as much as I do =D
