Me and the boys did some elite runs tonight, rare drop for myself and another fleety and then some good times on nukara killin little freeks with lots of legs lol.
If your out there looken for a fleet still and wanting a nice home with a fleet, look no further, will teach you how to roll elites like a boss, and have fun doing alot of other things that sto has to offer.
Also have another new fleet member, like to welcome Pain to the group. Looken forward to some more awsome stf runs like the ones we did last night.

Hello captains. As a ranking member of Starfleet Operations Command I feel it is my personal obligation to share my expierences with the fleet. First i would like to note that i have only been playing STO for about four months and went solo until about a month ago, when i was inducted as a member of SOC. The fleet excepted me with welcoming arms and i have never looked back. One thing you will see when you join is that there usualy is always another member on who is willing to answer any and all questions and partake in any events listed or things that you might wanna do. We also understand that we all have real lives and dont hold that aginst you if you arnt playiing all the time. Overall the company we keep and the way the fleet runs is very exceptional and im shure you will enjoy it very much. So if you find youeself wanting to join do not hesitate to post you information on this forum. Hope to see you soon!

reading the forums while eating this delicious choc muffin mmm, nom nom nom, but yes like tech said we are a very family orientated group, we are very close but we welcome everyone into the family. So if your out there looking for a home, no matter what age, young or old, because some of us are abit old hehhe, we are a pretty down to earth group of people.
I played STO for a bit a while ago as a solo player. I eventually decided to join a fleet and see what it was like. I joined a big fleet with hundreds of players, none of whom knew each other. Fleet activities were akin to any Pick Up Group I could have gotten into without the fleet. So I decided to quit STO, it just got boring.
A few months ago I got bored with yet another game and decided to check out STO again. There was a new Rep system...new toys and...not enough else to keep me interested for more than another couple of weeks.
But then I met a gregarious member of SOC. He engaged me in conversation and after a few days of running into each other he invited me to the fleet. I was hesitant at first. I knew that my interest in the game was likely to wane shortly, and I didn't want to disappoint anybody.
But this fleet was nothing like the one I had been in before. The members are all very friendly, helpful, and funny. I was welcomed immediately. Everyone knew who the other members were. Events became more fun and ran more smoothly. I very quickly began to feel a part of this family and before I knew it, months had flown by.
The game I thought would get boring again in a few weeks is now monopolizing my free time. I can't wait to get on and play. It is all because of this fleet and the wonderful people in it. So to those members who read this thank you.
And to those looking for a place in game to call home, a group to enhance the game, and a fleet you can be proud of; you'll never find a better choice than SOC.

I use the Adapted MACO set. Gives me the best shields and 25% more damage on all torpedo's.

1 beam bank fore and aft, one fore dual beam bank, two aft turrets, one quantum torpedo for and aft, and fore heavy weapons slot switching between Bio-Neural Warhead, Cluster Torpedo, and currently Tricobalt torpedo.
Devices: Subspace Field Modulator, Weapon and Shield batteries, and deuterium surplus.
Engineering: Chevron Seperation, *ODY's only* rare EPS flow regulator MK XI, very rare Monotanium alloy MK X*, and assimilated module*.
*Consoles are switched out with rare SIF Generator MK XI, depending on the situation.
Science: Work Bees, *ODY's only* rare shield emitter amplifier MK XI, and rare field generator MK XI
Tactical use HY III, Torp Spread, Attack Patterns, Beam Overload, and Tactical Team.
Science use mainly Tractor Beams and Replusors.
Engineering use Aux to hull integrity, Repair Team III, transfer power to weapons and shields, and extend shields III.
I use Odyssey as heavy support, strongly defensive and focusing on one target at a time hoping to draw them off allied escorts and science vessels and keeping all allied ships healed.
