Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online in 15 minutes for emergency maintenance -- we expect this maintenance to only last for 1 hour. The test server may also be unavailable during this time.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

- The Star Trek Online Team

UPDATE (7:08PM PDT): We're extending maintenance by 45 minutes. New ETA is 8PM PDT.

Is this related to the ongoing Server Not Responding issue?

Great, so, yesterday it was working fine, you 'maintained' it, now today I'm having connection issues... Wow, glad to see that you guys are on the ball...

Also, it's useless thanking us for our understanding when we don't actually understand, maybe an explanation is in order? Then we'd actually understand and I, for one, wouldn't think that you were taking the TRIBBLE. -.-

Why not take it offline for a good 12 hour long - fix all the bugs - clean out all the dust - complete makeover?

Is the server's warp core about to breach? Dang it... I bet it was the Taco. Ever since last April, I've been doubting it it was the real one and not the Mirror Taco.

I know i was spoofing one of my favorite ST Characters of all time and the reason why im an engineer now.

    Geordi is cool.

Espically when he is dealing with Core Breaches.

Of all of the TNG moments i remember those the most lol.

Thanks for the expansion that had "as much content as the last"

Probably because it was the mining bonus hour. Can't have them making too much dilith. Of course there's never any "Hey, sorry you made you miss the mining bonus so we're going to extend the time...." Oh no, never that. I have noticed that EVERY downtime, whether planned or unplanned is during the mining hour, though, nice timing that.

Not coincidence, no... His overwhelming and powerful presence causes major interfering feedback which shorts out several server components. It's to be expected when such a powerful being leaves for a while and suddenly re-emerges!

Basically... the Servers missed the almighty Capt. Fiber waay too much! :D

    You guys....

Yes, it's a game YOU play, but come on....

How you gonna get all bent out of shape when THEY are working on fixing an issue that may or may not be affecting you and you don't even know it. I can speak from personal experience and say that there are a number of crucial issues involving loss of main character account packets that may not affect YOU personally, but there are some other players who have a lot of time/money invested in the game and it may be all for naught now. So relax, let them do what they have to do, and if you can't find something to do for an hour, perhaps you should reevaluate your life anyway, eh?
