Being a member has made me enjoy Star Trek Online more and has reminded me of how great some of the older Trek titles are. I may have to locate some of the older software and play through it again now that I have a group of players to enjoy it with!
I've only been with {UFP} for a couple of weeks and I must say not only are they well organized, they are also very helpful both in game and on their forums as well.

Indeed! As of last night, the UFP has announced the formation of a new Romulan Division. You can check out our official announcement here!
I encourage all members to also read our division name thread here. All UFP members will be able to nominate a division name of your choosing for a popular vote later on Tuesday of next week! You guys will be deciding the name of our division! :cool:
UFP members can now cast a vote here on what they'd like our upcoming Romulan Division to be called. The vote ends on Friday and the division name with the most votes will be annouced on Saturday, during our award ceremony broadcast, as the new Romulan division name!
This weekend is the Fleet's regular UFPAC (Or United Federation of Planets Award Ceremony, a mouthful to be sure!) Great opportunity to meet the fleet and see something truely unique as the fleet recognizes the hard work and efforts of it's members!
... plus we do some silly fun stuff that's not entirely mocking the command's ability to pronounce names or works like 'meritorious'...
I look forward to the reading of Kain's citation for his meritorious and conspicuous gallantry in the face of eye rolls to maintain his humorous and comedic ways.
Perhaps we should take that our else the UFPAC will run over it's time allotment by an hour.

The {UFP} is one of the most active, well organized guilds I've ever seen. With an incredible history spanning multiple Star Trek games, the {UFP} has a great deal to offer anyone wanting to have friends to adventure with in STO. I urge you to visit our Fleet web site and take a look around.
The UFP is a gaming community dating back over ten years! We specialise in all things Star Trek and have a great STO playerbase spread across two in game fleets! Our main starbase is well on it's way to Tier V and the second almost to Tier IV. We also have a Klingon fleet called the House of Kular who also have a great looking starbase.
There are plenty of weekly events in the UFP for STO players. I myself hold a themed PvP event on Tuesdays. It's not really competitive, but is a LOT of fun. As I already stated, each week has it's own theme. One week we may grab all our TOS ships and gear and go fight it out (which is always great to see btw, another weeks theme may be around the WoK timeline with refit connies and excelsiors. Other themes include shuttles only PvP or TNG series PvP... lots of Galaxy's!
Every so often we hold special events, this is a new thing for me but it was a great success the first time we tried it. I'm sure everyone remembers the Battle of Chin'Toka from DS9? Where the Dominion fleet with help from the Breen decimated the allied forces. Well with a handful of Galors, JHAS, Dreadnoughts and Breen cruisers we tried to emulate this epic engagement. Was certainly something to see and great fun was had by all who attended.
This is just a taste of some of the great events the UFP has for the avid STO player. If you're interested in being part of a great community look no further than the UFP.
