As the title suggests, I would like to use the thread to gather the little, annoying bugs, UI problems etc, that are getting more and more numerous with each patch.
You are welcome to add to the list, but leave balancing requests like beam vs. cannon, or things out that would require a major expansion, i.E. Klingon content out.
I would rather create a list of the little, annoying things that seemed to have been forgotten over the course of the last few expansions, but are probably fixable even with limited developer attention.
- unable to post in fleet chat after switching characters
- not able to see who is online in fleet chat (the entire chat interface is so last century)
- Chimera sometimes getting stuck in tactical mode and unable to switch back without leaving map
- sporadic 2 minute timer on all abilities, captain and Boff in space STF
- NPC pathfinding is catastrophal in some of the old ground maps like the fire caves for example
- Omega launcher plasma bolt stuck and launcher unable to fire (the launcher seems to get unstuck after a few seconds, but it is still very annoying)
- crew loss percentage on kinetic hits is too high on ships with lots of crew, often after a few seconds all crew members are dead/ wounded which drops any hull repair rate to zero. (the entire mechanic should either be removed or reworked)
- invisible 'killer' torpedos from gates and sometimes tactical cubes.
- no 'investigate ancient ruins' science duty officer assignments in Tau Dewa
- extremely low rewards for the exploration daily (maybe remove the DL but give people 150 fleet marks instead as a daily reward)
- Tau Dewa red alert not working properly and often shown as completed/failed even when it just spawned in my instance.

_ Qonos : Bug that causes player to beam to Shipyard instead of First city when beaming rfom space or academy.
_ the unability to claim C-store 'Tribble of Borg' item for alt toons.
_ Glitch that causes ship to be fully invisible on STF
_ Glitch taht causes weapons to get stuck at 'no shoot' mode on stf for the entire STF : meaning you can just leave then since you cant use your weapons
_ Items in tray that cant just get back to where you want them to be.
_ skills that go all messed up when switching kit
_ display bug: Chimera, but also Guramba not to display the proper state tactical/siege/ etc
Since these bugs have beein going for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long, when will we have at least the team telling us you got them to acknowledgment.

-boff station equipping broken
- Instead of activating skills go on a global or system cooldown. Sometimes happens even if you don't spam them
- Many of the exploration ground maps are still bugged (enemies under the ground, inside buildings, on top of buildings, on top of huge boulders, etc)
- When you add items to reputation projects it uses your equipped hypos and shield charges first
KDF Honor Guard Helmets are still broken.
Dialog decloaks ship at inopportune times
Running Starbase defense back to back on different characters causes audio to stop working and an eventual client crash if the client is not restarted.
Server disconnect in STF's brings you back to the beginning of the map making you continue to be useless to your team until you catch back up.
Lag so bad a mission takes minutes to complete after completing.
no list of binds
to many pets in Bank. they should have their own storage. one for space. one for ground.
John Van Citter is afraid to give players a Endgame Constitution Refit.
Only Phaser and Disruptor Elite weapons. wheres the rest?
Only Antiproton Stores in Reputation System... Once again. Wheres the rest?
KDF only have 9 unique missions. Feds have 50. Wtf...
All the uniforms that are being put out are in the frackin lobi store and not Z-Store
Z-Store needs more love aside from just ships and outfits every once in while. Back in 2011 there would be at least 4 Z[C]-Store releases each week. Some of them were the sets.

More skin varients for current ships on both factions
KDF needs more hair and clothing for free.
Can I haz [Borg] Bat'leth and other [Borg] Melee weapons in Omega Rep please?

I'd like to see the battle of wolf 359 and the battle to take back DS9 with all the ships STO provides. perhaps in a documentry cutscene of sorts. would that be possible?
Stop nerfing Science. Buff Engineering Healing and Buffing Abilities, Tac is fine as is. Also tac buffing abilities should not buff sci abilities like Gravwell and whatnot. Horrible coding there.
Galaxy, Defiant and Intrepid Retrofits are useless with Ensign's of their commanders, Make them Universal Ensigns. Same thing with some other ships. Namely Excelsior Retro, Multi Vector Assault Prometheus, Heavy Escort Carrier. All have useless ensigns.
Lobi ground weapons should be 30 Lobi. Lobi big ships should be 500, Lobi Shuttles should be 230. All Lobi Uniforms should be 50.

Look at NPC ships in the far distance and you'll see lightmaps, detailed hull plating...the good stuff.
We're stuck with the smeared textures from the low-res models.

-Memory leak still not fixed. First loading of New Romulus cause a CTD. Several hours logged cause FPS drop, then CTD.
--KDF enemy spawns target their own BNW and shoot it down seconds after launch. While hilarious, this demonstrates not the true capability of your engine but ineptitude. Been complaining about this since Season Seven.
--Romulan ships blow themselves up with HYT in the Romulan Arc missions. Again, while hilarious, this illustrates a lack of either skill from your programmers, an utter disregard for quality or a general "if it can't be sold it's irrelevant to the game" attitude. Dozens of bug-reports since Season 5.5.
The above problems affect the first missions a new player sees. If I was a new new player and I saw the stunning lack of quality these bugs demonstrate I'd pack up and go elsewhere.
--The pathfinding for BOFFS causes them to spazz and run everywhere, flopping their arms and whatever they are carrying. My captain takes two steps, my entire away team dances and shuffles about swinging heavy weapons as if they were foam noodles. They sprint everywhere, again flopping weapons about rather than maintaining firing stance. Very... comical. Not very immersive and not the best display of professional programming skill.
--Spaztic behavior of Doffs wielding mini-guns. If you've seen it in action you know how idiotic it looks.
--Invisible 1-hit-wondertorps. Still. And rapid-fire machine-gunning cannon-fire from cubes. It's rather tiresome to re-spawn, fly into the fray and get another 100K crit. Either fix the deathblow mechanic or do away with the sliding respawn timer. Goal here is to reward players for success not punish them at random because because. :P
--On that subject we're still locked out of our controls when we respawn. I have a question: Do you not keep a changelog? Can't you go back to when the problem first appeared and start undoing changes until it goes away?
--Audio glitches
--Transwarp animation glitches
--Warpout ultra-zoom and camera focus shift -- 75% of the time you zoom past my ship and all I see are streaks. Other times you zoom so far into my ship all I see are streaks and a wire-frame.
I have a text file with over a hundred other bugs I could pick and choose from. I'd settle for getting these fixed first though. Make the game look nice and fix the immersion-breaking idiot-programming bugs and you'd be surprised how quiet I become.
Last week or the week before last, i thought i'd reinstall STO and see what was going on. A few minutes into making a fresh toon i kept getting DC and 'server not responding' error messaged. So i didnt play for more then 30 minutes...fast forward to today. Restarted another toon, and i see there is a problem with BoFFs.
so yah...
- sporadic 2 minute timer on all abilities, captain and Boff in space STF
- Omega launcher plasma bolt stuck and launcher unable to fire (the launcher seems to get unstuck after a few seconds, but it is still very annoying)

- System has major rubber banding effects.
-System not responding happening more frq.
- Crew Office slots cleared out and can't reload them.
Four minute cool down while in PVP,PVE and STF's. Can happen up to four times with in a 20 play time.
-- Less and less drops in STF's and PVE.
- Gorn 1stplace drops are worthless. I got only shields and eng's.
- Gave play is getting worse. Slow server, rubberbanding, tranfer to station or space some times take up to 40 sec and server not responding.
Can't wait for Space Citizen to come out....

Although I'm 96% certain the Devs know all about it, and actually have a running bet or office pool going to see how long it takes before every level 50 player figures out that scanning radiation on New Romulus breaks the minigame for dilithium mining.

- after selecting a small craft/shuttle at the space dock, it keeps being displayed in the character info despite the player flying his starship, not the shuttle. This seems to be unrelated to the name of the ship/shuttle (renaming them in alphabetical order or not)
- in addition, the shuttle keeps being displayed first if pulling up the Repair dialogue

-tuffli transwarp; sub menu for B'tran nebula doesn't show VA vs Non VA versions you just have to guess
-tuffli transwarp; no option to transwarp to arucanis arm
-crafting; the recipe for making deployable turrets makes a plasma beam array instead

Edit: because it is so annoying and unneccesary I'll mention again that the subspace field modulator being unique really needs to be changed to one per ship.
Whilst KDF characters still can't customize their Tier 4 Marauding (Diplomacy) Boffs, Cryptic has all the same seen fit to remove the Tailor code that allowed a limited amount of customization.
Dev time is being spent removing things from the game that they feel detrimentally affect them and yet there's little evidence of them addressing the bugs that affect our enjoyment of STO on a daily basis.

this is not a bug; it says right in the description that it's a single character unlock, so if you want multiple borg tribbles, you have to pay multiple times

KDF transporters on the homeworld frequently send you the wrong place. e.g. *selects first city from shipyard* results in *sent to shipyard... from shipyard* (yeah.. that happens often.)
(not 100% sure on this one, but putting it up incase) Defensive carrier pets seem to have some major aggroing ability e.g. Shield Repair unit drawing the aggro of a cube in ker'ret that was on the border of "sensor horizon" (The cube was just visible because it was THAT far away, yet still went for the SRU)
