Why would you decide to mess with something like this at the same time as a patch? It makes no sense! Ever heard of controls? It's the basis of empirical testing. You don't start changing a bunch of stuff at once, then you make it hard to figure out what the problem is...

Then just tried it and it opened up the launcher but an internet exporer error message popped up.
Also tried through a VPN and even that doesn't work now.
PS not even sure why mine tries to update as i did tick the box in the launcher options so that it wouldn't do this.
