but i would like to see the CXP weekends incorporated into these in future, so that everyone benefits, as im sure there are plenty of people with only a small number of characters that have so much expertise that this is pointless.
so instead of having one xp weekend that benefits one group and a cxp weekend that benefits another group, mix them together and it benefit a much larger group.
it would also be nice to see a dilithium boost weekend or a mark boost weekend at some point.

Yeah, my main went below 9 million instead of reaching that 10 million mark (available, the total including spent is way higher).
And my other toons are also struggling. (I guess my main KDF has fallen below 8 million, will have to look.)
Not that there's any use for millions of expertise, I just didn't like loosing more than I gained. It's sorta haunting in the back of my head.

There's a ton of Dilithium in the game. There are 3 billion missions you can run for Dil.
I'm stunned how many people think amount of Dilithium is the issue.
The issue is you can only refine 8K a day. Now a refining bonus week on the other hand... that would be something. Though all that would really mean is I'd play my Alt Toon less and play my Main Toon more in the end, since the Alt Toon exists for no reason but selling Dil to the exchange that I promptly buy back with the Main.

What about a reputation week or a fleetmark one with the event on for a week?

pointless for most people tbh , as for me also worthless cause i already have over 14 million xp . what am i suppossed to do with it all ?

As a suggestion, rather than a complaint, though... I would agree with others, that it might be nice for Q to give us a bonus CXP, Reputation, Fleet Mark, and/or Dilithium Ore/Refining weekend sometime in the future. Just saying.

I did my best to race every day from the start of the event. Sadly computer and other issues which neither I nor Cryptic/PWE had any control over set me back; of the 17 characters i've made i could only race 12 and of those only 1 was unable to finish. Some of my chars have an extra 160-200; more than enough for him to close the gap (he has either 840 or 880 photos). Will the Q Photos by unbound at some point or at least made account-shareable?
pwebranflakes frequently redirected inquiries to http://sto.perfectworld.com/news/?p=798511 but that article fails to disclose either the location(s) of the ferengi selling Winter Items or for how lone; i would presume until 31st Jan, the date stated for the GPL Converter.
I made the Winter Event my priority for the limited time i have to play, essentially sacrificing almost all of the opportunities for playing FE Reruns; only 1 BOff, 2 Canes and 7 (4+2+1) Lobi. Far short of what i'd hoped to accomplish.
That said i did generally enjoy the event. Some days i really had a blast! Despite the annoyance of Snowmen attacking when i'm trying to Race. :cool:

T6 Nova/Rhode Island, T6 Oberth & T6 Constellation are needed. Also needed a T6 Science Cruiser, that can wear any Science or Cruiser skin.
The GPL conversion consoles are located in the two Ferengi lairs: Quark's and Drozana. Always near the Dabo table.
At those consoles, the selling of all the winter stuff continues till the end of January.

The first one usually run is double XP weekend...
Yet to be seen this season, but ones I've seen before:
Junior Officer appreciation weekend - +50% CXP + exocomp/reman DOff if you don't already have it...
Fleet mark week - where the whole week is considered an hourly "fleet mark event" that shows up on the calendar and all missions give the bonus marks...
Logic tells me that there will be a week where the reputation event is always on, much like the fleet mark week... Yeah, it doesn't shorten the actual time of the reputation events (but remember, the timers were dropped from 40 hours to 20, I'm not asking for much more than that...)
So, outside of Dilithium (of which the only "event" I've seen was the introduction of the mines) I expect everyone to get "their turn" - even though nobody else gets a full doubling of their incomes...

To Members of the STO Forum Community: I know about events with bonus xp; i can't always be on at those times. Mirrior Universe Incursion is min Lv 10. Please, as a favor i ask do not reply with info i already know but cannot use do to my situation (limited time/times i can play, cash for zen...). Thank you.

My kdf has run into some issues with expertise for projects i spent quite awhile running around defera invasion simply because 1 gives xp 2 quick to do them few mins run to next so on but still took awhile to get enough needed elite stfs give some but not enough replying missions the time it takes 1 reply i can do 4 defera easy with twice as much rewarded exp. will be ble to do stfs and get enough from kills with this event to do rep and get dilithium without them seperating/taking more time to do both. very helpful indeed ty:)
Could you please have a more pointless event, maybe something like 'The Sky is blue' event, or maybe 'Grilled Cheese Tuesday' event.
Never mind, both of those are infinitely more useful than an XP event that only benefits max level players. Great job.

I work only a few miles from the Cryptic building.. if they had Grilled Cheese Tuesdays I would be all over that place.

the wiki seems to be a bit off on this but you can go to defera with a lower character then 50 your fighting level powers abilitys health shield armor weapon are boosted to 50 level to allow you to combat the borg without being at a dissadvantage they are less powerful then 50 but still boosted enough for level 5s to do the hards without too much difficulity. and you can still get the borg mark x weapons from the rewarded hard boxes so a good start later levels on weapons armor shields alot of fun and you are most welcome:)
