yeah. they only had 5 classes when they had a working alpha version like 1 1/2 years ago. imagine how many classes they have added in the last 1 1/2 years and the next year!
I bet about 20 classes!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do know that development time from Jan 1'st 2012, all development has gone into grab-bags right?
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

no way. By far the biggest complain that NW had was the lack of classes and multi classing.
My cryptic would have addressed those issues and not put cheat party tricks in.
You must be mistaken.

Yes... Cause they don't do that at all...
On topic... My key is still a give-away... I ain't touching another PWE game ever again.

LOL, when I read this I thought it said Winder Event beta keys for Lifetime members. Thought this was my chance to score a Bug (as in the ship) for free I really hope I wasn't they only one that misread this :P
Hi, my name is: Elim Garak, Former Cardassian Oppressor
LTS, here since...when did this game launch again?
I've been in enough betas to know I really don't want to be in any more REAL betas. If they're smart, Lifetimers will only get into the "Marketing beta," where its mostly ready to go. A REAL beta is an ugly affair, and they should limit THAT to players who will be useful in such.

And you would know since your in the Top ten list of people getting early access.

There will be no multiclassing in Neverwinter, cause there is no multiclassing in 4th edition of D&D. Cryptic is just following the rules here, if you prefer edition 3.5 and want multiclassing play DDO instead.

Oh, WE have access now. . . but people outside the company don't yet. Sorry.
It is shaping up nicely though.
(And I'm definitely not in the top 10, maybe the top 100 or so)
It would be interesting to know what your take is on their environment art. From the promotional material they've released, it certainly seems to be a new direction from that of Champions and Star Trek Online (and you've worked/are working on both).
Personally, I like it. Its very detailed. But I'd wonder whether its only that way in commonly revisited areas and interiors.

Look at the videos for room construction and foundry customization.
I think it's fair to say two things based on what Cryptic has released:
1) Neverwinter is a CITY so every location is commonly revisited.
2) There is clearly an emphasis on detail in all areas.
I have yet to see any crazy travel powers or even sprint in any of the videos released.
Consider how much ground you cover in Champions with rocket boots and rainbow slides. Consider how much you cover in STO with sprint.
Now imagine your normal movement speed in STO was your sprint and people normally walked briskly. And that the entire gameworld was a realistically sized city.
Just based on what the videos show, I'd say this looks like a more detail intensive version of the kind of city scapes City of Villains had.
I've been waiting for this but havent received a key yet. Don't know when or if i will , but i haven't noticed alot of giveaways or anything...pretty dead -.-
If someone can spare a free key i would like to give this game a shot , since its not coming out soon i guess
The February PC Gamer magazine is giving a code for free access to the Beta and a random horse mount either black or white. I assume the Beta access is for after closed beta. I assume lifers go first for a month or two, then other people that have beta access enter the beta.
I'm still waiting on a key. So if anyone doesn't want theirs, send it my way. I'd love to beta test this game.
i got a email ages ago something about beta but i have no interest and delted it. only game i want to play is elder scrolls online. cant wait for it atleast i have lifer so i come back to sto every now and then.

Happy holidays , looking forward to NW
