Tier 5 Ship Comparison Spreadsheet

Here is a Google-based Spreadsheet about all of the T5 ships that a level 40 (or Rear Admiral and Brigadier General) character and higher can fly. You can use this to compare different types of ships together, and determine which one you like the most stat-wise. :)

FAQ

What does this Spreadsheet do?

This Spreadsheet represents all of the current Tier 5 flyable starship players can get their hands on. It provides several tabs at the bottom dictating Fed Ships, KDF Ships, a Comparison between the two, Cruisers, Escort, Science Vessels, individual comparisons and the new Fleet System with what Tier each Fleet Ship can be obtained.

Does this spreadsheet include lower Tiered ships or Shuttles?

No, the reason for this is because lower tiered ships are not as important as T5 ones for a character, purely because of the fact that you won't spend forever in a lower Tiered ship (and with the Fleet System converting most of them for T5 anyways). Shuttles were not included for this reason because they are no better than T1 ships (which are not included).

It's too complicated!

This is the most efficient design of comparing T5 starships I could conceive. All of these stats are factual and bring a side-by-side comparison with their counterparts.

Where are the lockbox ships?

Lockbox ships were included in the Fed, KDF and Comparison tabs to signify they can be flown by both factions. The Jem'Hadar ships (the Bug, Dreadnought and Escort Carrier), the Temporal Destroyers and the Breen Chel Grett Warship are all in the Escort tab, the Galor and the D'Kora are both in the Cruiser tab and the two Tholian Ships with the Temporal Science Vessels are in the Science Vessels tab. The Freighter was included in the first three tabs but has no official designation, and is technically a T1 ship, so was not included in with Cruisers, Escorts or Science Vessels.

KDF Ships have a different classification, where do they fit in?

This was actually a simple solution. Raiders (aka. Bird of Prey's), Raptors and Destroyers all went into the Escorts tab, Battle Cruisers and Flight-Deck Cruisers were both included in the Cruisers tab and the Carriers with the Support Vessels were included in the Science Vessels tab. This was primarily based off their Commander Slots and what their aimed at function as a starship could/would/should be.

You guys are free to copy this Spreadsheet all you wish to provide a personal comparison between ships of your choosing. Please note, I will be updating this everytime a new ship comes out, so expect a new comparison of ships in the "Ship Comparison" tab between the new ship(s) and any more closely-related/relevent ships.

Also, please point out any mistakes in stats or names on this spreadsheet. Point to a specific location and any other tabs it is included in so I can update it quickly. I shall provide an Update Log as I update the spreadsheet with fixes and new ships.

    Thanks a million ooiue. I was looking at replacing my captain level Defiant Refit with a T5 Escort. Your comparison will go a long way in helping me make up my mind on what to get. Cheers! :D

    Nice list, will come in very useful.

    Odysee Tactical Cruiser has a crew of only 2500 though. Unless I am missing some of mine ? :D

    I'm showing the inertia rating on my D'Kora at 40. Also, the bonus power levels for it depend on if it's in Battle Mode, or Defensive Mode. I don't really know how you want to handle that last one.

    There's another one!

    I actually had to guess on half the new ships because none of them showed the inertia rate, that's one area I was unable to get a definitive on (but isn't all that importnt really anyway compared to the rest :))

    fleet recconasaince science vessel does not have 44000 base hull it should be 27900 if im not mistaken:) fleet advanced heavy cruiser retrofit should be 39600, and the fleet exploration cruiser retrofit should be included which has 44000 hull

    Thanks very much for compiling all this information.

    Question: Tab 1 for FED ships shows:
    Fleet Reconnaissance Science Vessel at 44000 hull.
    Obviously it is a Fleet ship but don't see it anywhere else but the first tab associatted with it. Perhaps was ommited. Just wanted to confirm it has 44k of hull.

    3rd tab for "comparison" shows:
    Fleet Reconnaissance Science Vessel at 29700 hull

    Another tab: "Science ships" shows:

    Fleet Reconnaissance Science Vessel at 29700 hull


    Which tab is correct?

    The Fleet Recon under Exploration Cruiser Retrofit seems to have fallen victim to auto-correct, it is actually the Fleet Exploration Cruiser Retrofit xD

    Fleet Advanced Heavy Cruiser Retrofit has 42900 hull http://www.stowiki.org/Fleet_Advanced_Heavy_Cruiser_Retrofit.

    I believe that you have switched the names on the mirror recon and deep space science vessels. (You've got them named like they should be named based on hull shape). The mirror deep space looks like the standard recon and turns like it, but has two engineering slots.

    Otherwise, this is a great tool. Thank you.

    Also updated the "Ship Comparison Tab" with this ship, to compare the Jem'Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier with the Heavy Escort Carrier (Standard and Fleet), Jem'Hadar Attack Ship and the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier. The Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier has been compared to Tholian Recluse Carrier, Vo'Quv Carrier (Standard, Mirror and Fleet) and the Atrox Carrier.

    The Mirror Universe ships are comparison to each other as well.

    Correction: LRSV Retrofit costs 2000 Zen (not 1500) - it's the Bellerophon that costs 1500.

    Otherwise, very useful guide. :)

    However there is a little error: the jem'hadar attack skip do not has a +5 engine power bonus (if I am right i read +15 weapons that is ok and +5 eng that is wrong).

    D'Kora is 4/4 fore/aft on the weapons. I'll check the rest when the server comes back up. You've added more tabs since I first checked it out, so I'll double check them in a bit.

    *Edit:
    It's Official Class is a Battle Cruiser.

    Some corrections concerning the Fleet Assault Cruiser:

    1) Actual Boff layout is
    Cmdr Eng
    LtCmdr Tac
    Lt Eng (not Lt Tac)
    Lt Uni
    Ens Tac (not Ens Eng)

    2) Cost is 4 fleet modules (1 with discount), not 5

    3) Power boost is +10 weapons, +5 to others. Not +5 to all.

    4) It is actually named the Fleet Assault Cruiser Refit, signifying the fact that the Assault Cruiser Refit (Regent) provides the module discount.
