I got the same thing to day where the game booted me for no reason at all.
Mostly you have to under stand that the servers are under lots of stress from the winter event this is most likely the cause of all the disconnection issues.
But i am all so going to say that this could or could not be the problem for you.
There is multi reasons way the game will crash or boot you from game.
The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.
and post the results here. This will provide some clues on whats causing your connection issues...
I've worked in the computer industry for about 15 years. 10 of those was spent doing help desk / network administration. It's not hard to figure out where the problem lies...ever since the last update, the game has been wonky. I didn't come here to get help desk support or analyze tracert logs, just wondering if anyone else can also give their experience with the game from their end.

Then you should well know better than to dismiss a request for proof out of hand. I would expect someone with the experience you claim to have to come up with a better reason than "the update made the game screwy".
Your OP stated nothing about what you had performed other than "you contacted your ISP" and of course they're going to say that the issue isn't on their end.
So yes, those that know what they're talking about are going to ask "what have you done to try and find out where the issue is"...to which you respond, essentially, "I have uber experience in this field, I don't have to explain myself to the likes of you!!"
Or will you enlighten us on HOW you figure the problem is with the server, or the update, other than simplistic cause and effect reasoning? Don't use your experience as an excuse to dismiss proper troubleshooting out of hand.
If you're not willing to do that, you're just talking smoke and mirrors.
FYI: I doubt Otaku is a complete noob at networking either. And if you wanted to know everyone else's experience with the game as it pertains to this issue, creating a new thread was hardly necessary.
