Y'know this looks like a perfect time for Cryptic/PWE to hire some people to moderate the forums. A sort of "work(moderate) from home" and pay them for their work. I myself would be willing to do this.
I'm with you. I'm supposed to volunteer my time to amateur, no-profit activities, not to do for free a job for a company! It seems to me that they too have a Foxconn mindset. Cryptic/PWE help yourself hire someone!
And I just saw another poster with a 700 x 650 sig image.
I for one think 500 x 150 is too dang small but well.....
Is there some how this can be followed up on? I;v e asked for feedback on the last 2 reports as to why the image is still being allowed. If an allowance was being made, like for a very good foundry mission but never heard anything back. Granted if someone did respond, it would have been buried in exchange messages.
I hope someone gets around to reposting the Forum Rules.
it's Anarchy out there right now!!!

Right now things are, as stated, hectic. Things will get back to normal soon though folks! Just hang in there the team is working night and day to straighten things out.

As far as I'm aware from past experience it's been that you are allowed either 5 line text (including blanks) with no image or a 500x150 image with no text or a smaller than 500x150 image with some text...
I will however seek clarification for us, might take a while so bare with me.
I don't honestly believe we (the comm mods) can give you an answer to this, are you experiencing an bug/issue with the ticketing system atm or have you in the past that you can use as an example?
my god what petty nonesense.... this is a perfect example of the idiocy that arises from community mods
Community mods are just drama waiting to happen, although they can be good if you want to quickly reduce a forum to a small clique of yes-men.
Uh you both know this was setup 6 months ago and we've had community mod's since then? This isn't brand new

eh It depends. I used to be on a company's support forums as a moderator but got run off because I saw everything from both sides, the company as well as the clients. if the client could get a better solution elsewhere, I told them so. They weren't real happy with that nor with me expressing my annoyance with poor customer service or outstanding bugs that had existed for eons. That moderator position got dumped on me like many others I've held without any "Do you want to do this?" asked a head of time. That's one of the reasons why I jumped on that over at stowiki when they started talking about new admins and the procedures on how to upgrade them. Clueless idiots....
Not all of us are tin gods or whatever the term is. Some of use actually do try.

Looks like some people are late to the party. It's has actually worked really well for the pas 6 months without any major issue that I can remember. Some more moderation in the new forums would be a good thing right now - get out that ban hammer!

No No No.
Speaking from 2 decades of internet experience, having community mods is always horrible.
One of my main concerns is that the people who want to be glorified hall monitors are usually the worst people to actually be doing.
I have enough busy bodies in my life with out some random forum monkey getting all anal

Humour: Your font style is SOOOOOO last year. Did you pick it up at a Ferengi yard sale or did your Admiral buy it for you?
thanks
Thank you once again for showing us that Cryptic doesn;t have a clue as to how to provide decent customer service.
500 years in the future and we still look like schmucks when getting our ID photos taken...
Really? I have had a few issues with things and never had a problem getting resolution....Perhaps you use the wrong tone when you need help....:P
If you need to troll a thread at least pick one that isn't almost half a year old.
