STO Forums | Joined Date Incorrect

I've been an active STO player since release. I have also been playing for the last few years, not sure why but today I decided to post on forums and it stated I joined in June 2012. So that ain't right too if its based on the day you joined the forums.


Can any devs check on this? Whether its based on date joined on forum or date when registered for STO?

    When the Cryptic Forums were switched over to the PWE Site back in June, everybody who had been a member prior, had their Join Date adjusted.

    If you glance at a few of the current posters signatures, you'll notice many of them have listed their actual previous join dates.

    Above poster is correct...when the forums were switched, postcounts and join dates were reset.

    It's not a bug, it's the design of the new forums. Oh...and the forums will likely be changed again, there's a sticky in General about it.

    Oh, how lucky you are to have missed what I called 'The Flaming Furball Forums' - in other words, the few days immediately following the website change. At first you couldn't even use custom avatars or put pictures in your signature like before.

    And then there's the most hated and well known user on the forums... Archived Post. Every single last post ever made before the website went down for maintainance was placed under the user Archived Post and cannot be edited. Archived Post is essentially the ruins and everlasting reminder of that disaster.

    You can't be serious ... changing it again? Have to look and read after this ... I friggin can't believe it.

    Thanks guys for the sharing, that's very helpful. So I guess its me going to edit my signature now .. thanks to a bunch of freaking idiots who can't seem to takeover and make it right for the peeps who made this game what it is since day one!

    Yes, they are changing the forums again but Bflakes said it wouldn't require anotehr name change or all posts being put under Archived Post.

    Just one question, how and why is your game dead after the latest Season 7?
    Still trying to figure out if its the Romulans or just the patch itself? lol
