Intergrated Intel - Windows 7 Graphics crash FIX

So far from what i am noticing this has fixed 75% of all people issue with the graphics card crashes made by season 7.

Please ONLY install this if you a integrated intel graphics card. I can not predict what it will do on other systems. This is a driver downgrade you will need to overwrite your current drivers. During the install you will have a few min where your screen will go black, don't panic just wait.

Following the install, I was able to restore my graphics to there proper settings (recommended levels on STO )

you still seem to get a SMALL stick every now and then and although the stick for a third of a second is annoying it will not affect your gameplay.

If this works, please update your tickets and let them know what you did, Please make sure they have all your system info so they can pin down any systems that are still having the problems after this. Happy Gaming

    This is not a guaranteed fix.

    I have an integrated intel graphics card, have installed this and am still out of luck.

    Sorry if I sound aggressive I have just been suffering from this since launch.

    I understand, that's why I stated 75% .. some people still have issues.

    If you are having driver issues with the install of this driver, please search intel for a driver that might be a better fit for your GR card. But i won't look for one that is the most up to date, check for those that are around the same time period as this driver.

    if the driver caused you no normal issues and still did not solve the issue, then I am sorry something else must be causing a conflict.

    Problem with computers are ever computer model (sometimes even with in models) are almost as unique as finger prints. When you take into account the software /hardware that is installed. That is why PWE will have a problem finding a one fix for all machines ..

    Good luck with your search I hope someone finds the fix that includes your machine.

    cyriptic does not seem to an swear their tickets. I really wish to thank you for searching out a possible fix. but they really need to spend a lot more time play testing there updates backpacking my drivers has caused all manner of instablity is my computer so instead of spending my two days off of work enjoying new Romulus i get to restore my computer back to a usable state before work and school start on monday.

    Make sure your sending tickets via the website. I get more responses and quicker through that portal then in game.

    They will likely ask you for information about your computer and dat files. PLEASE everyone make sure you send these. It is the only way to make sure they have the info to find the common root of the issue that is causing our cards to crash while others do not.

    My computer keeps crashing when I play STO and despite trying various fixes I still cannot get it to work smoothly. All was fine up until the new season and now it just happens almost daily. I was in the middle of a PVP match when my computer just crashed and suffice it to say, its getting old real quick.

    I have done the suggested tests via other forms on STO but still it just isn't getting better.

    Would have to have to cancel my sub and stop playing but its pretty annoying to say the least. :(
