I'd go with temporal shenanigans. Enterprise had multiple alternate timelines that existed only for one or two eps. The Temporal Cold War rewrote Suliban history more than once. Maybe that is one of the things that got undone? Silik helped Archer because the bad guy was going to eradicate the Suliban too.

    lol, fair enough. :D

    I have a better question.

Enterprise established that Suliban had been destroyed. Why's it even there? :P

There is a difference between a planet and a system. the plant might be gone but the system, which i assume still has its star and has other planets, is still there.

My temporal disruption device now misfires 90 percent of the time, with or without high yield, with a buggy random timer that isn't accurate. Compared to a misfire of 30 percent on holodeck and half as messed up timer. I thought this had been addressed in a tribble patch?

Add 1,440 Dilithium to the Dewa Sector Patrol mission.
This is similar amount that the shorter Aiding the Deferi (Daily) gives.

A small suggestion for the Nequencia system. How about a short DOff assignment or a check against your Trade CXP level to speed it up.

I don't remember seeing it posted here, but nearly every mission in this sector has a pop up window the instant you complete the mission asking you to warp out, most times this is impossible because of a red alert. Can you have them delayed until red alert cancels? This way people don't die from warp core breaches when all their controls lock up because of a pointless and not usable pop up.

Most other missions do this, not sure why these don't.

    1. There seams to be a small lag when I play in the Tau Dewa sector (and any of the planets/systems in said sector) which I don't get in pve, or any of the old sector blocks, while not exactly game breaking, it is rather aggravating, especially when in 'enemy single contact' fights.

    2. can we possibly have more missions that reward dilithium, or maybe on option to get etheir dilithium as a reward or the new omega/romulan marks (kinda like when handing in the officer reports mission with the choice between a level specific item and and Dilithium.

This format for the patrol in the Tau Dewa Sector Block actually feels, patrol like. I'm not sure if it has already, but you should place this style of patrol mission in more of the sector blocks.

It actually feels Trek like. Starships would go on patrols in this manner, from one system to another.

Of course, the gekli herding one, everytime i do it, they just stop randomly for about 5 mins, after i've killed all the hirogen, might just be me though.
I'm the guy that uses unconventional builds, and don't fall to the normal. I also don't believe in "No-BS" TRIBBLE, it's in the game, it's ready to be used. Think Clint Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge.

Personally I'd like more of a patrol aspect to it. As things currently stand, people will just camp one favourite spot to finish the mission... I know I will even though it'll make it feel more grindy. You need to make me move to keep it fun :)

I had a quick play with the fleet system. The embassy stuff looks interesting but the way that Embassy Supplies work seems a little harsh. By the time I got there, all non-supplies needs had been filled. So I spent 40k-odd fleet credits to finish them off and now appear at the bottom of the leaderboard with 0 contribution. Seems a little harsh! Maybe tweak the leaderboard so that donating FC bought stuff actually shows... Perhaps an EC or even Romulan rep reward for spending all those FCs too (upon donation to the project), I'm currently feeling a little exploited.

The embassy elevator and stairs are bugged.

Several times on multiple toons and different computers when taking the elevator down to OPS I was glitched into the elevator wall and could not move. Taking the elevator back up to the Lobby unglitched me.

Also several times I fell completely through the bottom of the Embassy while taking the stairs up or down on both sets of stairs. Again on multiple toons on different computers. I was able to repeat both glitches at will.

I really enjoyed the variety of missions available in the Tau Dewa sector, more than just fighting! The mission where I had to negotiate trades between ships to get a particular good was pretty cool. Enemy difficulty seemed to be a little higher than what is currently on the holodeck but the drops I had been getting were also better. I did enjoy that it took a little more strategy (and actually needing buffs) to defeat some enemies. Carriers (or at least the recluse) appear to have their fighters target mines now which makes for much more interesting gameplay.

Here is my Feedback with the Changes to the Taw Dewa Sector for the Testing Weekend:

Jouret: Glad Satellites were moved per previous comment.

Carraya: Nebula not glitching, but in the right location?

Starbase 234: Still disappointed that this encounter is nothing but DPS.
This needs to be automatically scaled according to your ship type so players actually have a chance to win without needing an Escort.

Beta Lankal: Glad Tholians are more protective of their gains.

Pheben: Freighters mostly fixed, but their arsenal needs to be looked at. Fought one that had Defiant Quads on it and using Spread 3. Arsenals like those aren't typical of freighters. If I was a Captain of a Starship, I'd have them detained for having illegal weaponry. ;)

Archer: Still in a Very Uncanonical Location

This location is from the Star Trek Star Charts, which came before Enterprise, which in the series stated the Archer System is 31 Light Years away from SOL, which puts it in the Regulus Sector.

Galorndon Core: This Mission really needs to be redone from scratch, the Gekli getting constantly stuck on the tracks is going to make it highly unpopular and frustrating to do. I really suggest a free range like the Fleet Action and players hurd the Gelki around the Hirogen.

TD DSE: Could really use a respawn clock....

And have it actually work with the Tholian Red Alert Mission.

When getting the "Red Alert" mission, your bridge officer says the Borg are here.

Fancy my surprise when I meet a Tholian fleet upon accepting the mission. Too much copy-paste?.

    My experiences so far:

Jouret System: Seemed to work well, borg seemed a little more difficult than previously, although that may be partly down to the sets having been adjusted.

Acamar System: Nice to have a non-combat diplomacy mission and some different variations on the discussions held so that it doesn't become the same on every run (run it twice so far).

Starbase 234: Nice, the ships are reasonably well balanced, maybe even a touch too easy. But the starbase is quite overpowered, seemed to destroy me with only a few volleys (Engineer running a Tactical Escort Retrofit). Seems like you either need extreme DPS to extreme Tanking (perhaps with hit and run tactics) to survive this and with the difficult advanced to Hard (or Elite) you can pick up a lot of injuries on this mission.

Nequencia System: Works nicely, although quite easy to get lost within the different trader menu's when trying to work out what you need to get where you want. A few different end targets (so things other than plasma coolant would make the mission a little better for replays rather than also going to the same target component). Also when I go to buy the plasma coolant, the message bar seems to appear twice in the middle of screen and is stretched (normally I have it appear out of the way at the top of screen).

Galderon Core: Principle is good, but doesn't quite seem to work. Some of the Gelki (the newborns in particular) seeemd to keep getting stuck at various points (seems like spacial anomolies on the route) and the mission objectives seem to infer that you don't need to destroy all the hirogen, yet when I got the Gelki to the portal the mission says to destroy the last hunting party which was one I had managed to slip by just before the portal.

Sector Red Alert: As previously mentioned, the red alert say's about there being Borg, but you engage the Tholians. There is mention of spacial anomolies or something so maybe this is intentional (tholians making it look like the borg are coming?)

Liking what I've seen far, keep up the good work.

Quick comment on the Red Alerts (applies to them all, but more relevant with the Tholian daily). We really need a respawn timer. I've been wandering around all the different encounters trying to actually find ships to kill for about 20 minutes now. Found one group finishing off the flagship, but that's it. No clues when (or if) any other ships will actually show up.

When entering a loading screen from tau dewa to a planet i get:
    Server not responding

At the same time the server is patching many files, i do not get disconnected but it takes alot longer then a loading screen on holodeck

i just pLayed in the new romulan space.

I did the patrol which i thought was really fun and a good change of pace. fighting all the different factions, but i think the starbase is a bit overpowered, but I'm also playing on elite. It makes killing a regular cube seem like childs play in comparison.

I tried a few enemy encounters, but there was no enemy to fight. Are you suppose to for a red alert or something?

New romulus looks good, but why is there ruins if it suppose to be a new settlement?

Posted this in another thread, but this one didn't exist at the time (or, at least, I didn't see it:)):

The "Tholian Red Alert" daily mission seems to be bugged, at least during the time I played it. I would join via the "Red Alert" tab, fight for what seemed like ages, receive the flyby "Tholian Red Alert Daily Complete," even get that confirmation from the BOff, then...nothing - it does not show as complete. That was way too much time to spend (some of these battles are FAR too long, especially those that come in waves) with VERY little payout, and then to find out it didn't complete.

Also, every time I try to enter a deep space encounter, I see my ship enter, but then get the "Well done, Admiral" message from my BOff saying I have finished "the mission" - without seeing a single enemy ship. No payout, no credit there, either.

Finally, in the other new daily mission in 'New Romulus' space, there really is a lot of time spent for not much. In two of the missions we went through wave upon wave of enemy ships or long "storyline" aspects - all to the tune of 45 minutes or more and...only filled 35% of the total necessary for completion.

I know there are folks who get on and play for hours, but as you have admitted yourselves: you know most of us are more casual players. Honestly, I don't have 6 hours a day to spend fighting the same ships or herding space slugs (Gekli); sorry!

Please either shorten the duration of the missions, or make each mission worth more, percentage-wise.

PLEASE listen to the player base regarding problems (not the ridiculous and overly cosmetic suggestions, but the mechanical and functional ones) and make the truly necessary tweaks and changes BEFORE launch this time! Season 6 was a real train wreck for the first half of its life, but there was so much feedback about problems we saw during testing that a good deal that came along with the live launch could have been avoided.

I think the Tau Dewa Sector Patrol daily is way too long... It seems to take too many missions to complete in order to get the 60 Marks.

Some missions appear to advance progression of the objective more than others, which doesn't bother me all that much, but with no indication as to which missions are worth more than the others there will be a lot of trial and error to figure out which ones I want to play and whether the effort is worth the reward.

Since this is a Daily, I don't think it should take more than 4 missions, tops, to complete it. Either reduce the number of missions (I'd be fine with adjusting the reward lower to compensate) or dramatically increase the rewards to make it worth doing 5-6 missions.

I did not complete the mission where I am supposed to take artifacts away from the Tholians. I was a Sci Officer in an Oddy (my first mistake) playing solo (my second mistake) and I only managed to get one artifact before I gave up. This is definitely the hardest one I've tried so far and it doesn't seem worth the effort when there are easier missions to claim the same reward (Marks).

In the missions where we are supposed to defeat 5 groups, I liked the fact that the opposition comes in waves instead of having to fly from group to stationary group. I thought these were challenging and fun to play.

I agree that the patrol mission should award both Dilithium and Romulan Marks.

Apologies for me taking so long to write my feedback on the new sector block.

    Now before I forget:

First of all (and I think I saw someone mention it), some patrols advance the "Patrol Tau Dewa" mission more than others. Most seem to give 20% towards the objective, while at least one (sadly didn't notice which one, just saw the result of having less %) only gives 15%.

Unless it's only some glitch, it would seem better to have it fixed at having to do 5 patrols of your choice to complete the mission. You don't end up in a situation where you finish your supposed last patrol and end up receiveng less than the expected amount of completion %.

If some patrols don't warrant the 20%, then consider adding one of the respective objectives.

Now onto one patrol I had some trouble with. It's either the Pheben or Beta Lankal system patrol, the one where you install a quarantine by launching satellites and then disabling a couple freighters.

The problem was I had to get to a complete stop to launch a satellite (not that bad albeit annoying in a low "inertia" cruiser), which combined with the fact I was only allowed to launch a satellite in a very small zone (much smaller than the circles shown in the map) made it very bothersome.

Well, that's about it. The other (more or less fighting) patrols were fact paced, fun (was pleasant to see the Enterprise come and help once). Nothing to report there.

All in all, nice mission. If only it rewarded the player in any meaningful way (marks are not an attractive reward).
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

I find that even with a good team of 5 this mission is nearly impossible to beat. it is way over powered and you can't really tell the support gourps form the main group this needs to be made more like the borg red alarts where you fight the first batch of lesser groups then you have the boss group or ship come in.

agreed.. Why change the sequence like the other Sector Patrols which were complete 3 rounds.

Tau Dewa Normal Deep Space Encounter:

Tholian ships in the DSE was spamming (literally) the Tholian Web and their disables was far too frequently for a solo player. Suggest adding a temporary counter proc so it cant be done one after another. Currently you literally need at least 2 Engineering Teams the way they disable.

Also, the Flagship was TOUGH! With just me (in a Regent), it was shrugging off damage. With an Odyssey helping me, after 5 minutes we got it down to 80%. It wasn't til 2 Escorts zoned in that we defeated it.

Most definitely the Flagship is super tough. Maybe not make it Level 53. I know I couldn't defeat it because of either the fast cool down for fighter/ship launches kept bogging me down.

Also, whatever weapon they are hitting me with but it kept draining my Weapon power to Zero. I kept getting hit with that like every 10 seconds. Their disuptor torpedos spammed constantly.

Tau Dewa Normal Deep Space Encounter:

BTW, need that DSE clock back so we know when the zone resets.
For the Love of God---Bring back the clock.. I never knew why it was removed after Season 1 or 2. The clock was very helpful to have.

I like that you made several different patrol missions. I really enjoyed the diplomatic one :-)

But the Patrol daily really takes to long. If you have to fight with a engie in a cruiser it takes even longer -.- (Yeah , I know that I just could get some escorts for the dailys xD)

Is it possible to disable the starbase with an engineer on a AC?

The Leviathan from the Tolians in the Azure Nebula is tough and hard hitting. I like that. But a lot of the casual players will just be victims.

I'm personally not that much a fan of the percentage-based advancement...

I understand somewhat why it's this way - the percentage seemingly is based on how long it takes to do the mission & the "effort" required - a "3 clicky" diplo mission tends to give 10%-15% while a 10-ship combat tends to give 20%...

What I can't figure out (and haven't done a ton of them to confirm/test), is if this percentage system also takes into account class and actual time invested - does the escort take a slight percentage hit if he CSVs through the space squads quicker than a cruiser ever could dream of? If it's 100% for 1.25 hours of play, can going AFK in one mission give up to 80% completion?

I think it's purely based on time and this is why I don't like it - I vaguely remember on one test I had 2 squads of "tier 1" Frigates that my Recluse trapped in a GW and pummeled with BFaW, completing the mission in a scant few minutes, and only got 15% while the combats where the squads don't die within the timeframe of a GW were the ones that liked to pay me 20%...

I shouldn't be "penalized" on mission completion rates because I have an "optimized" build for something - especially since it's hard to optimize for certain things (I'd love to see someone "optimized" for diplomacy, how do you click the trivia answer quicker?) while other things (space combat?) one can "optimize" for just by ship selection - Escort anyone? Or things like my science that can chew up frigates (via CC abilities) but has some issues with cruisers?
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...
