laucher is broken again

sto fixed problem and now it broken again. they posted a red letter that they aware of it. but cant play.:(

    The red box is still up, but you should be able to log-in =/ Is anyone else not able to log-in still?

    I can log in but can't start foundry missions, I get a "Dynamic patch failure: The connection was idle for too long".

    Just got booted out and can't log back in - started just as Romney began his concession speech - high internet demand?

    Seconded. An in game warning system would be nice.

    I cant log in, and can not even get the launcher to come up. Its been happening for over a week now for me.

    I have written tech support (though the problems i am experiencing include affecting the websites to so no idea if they have seen my response to them.)

    I have done everything short of reformating my entire computer to try and get the launcher to connect to the auto-update server and everyone says its a problem on my end.

    I can reach the cryptic firewall with a tracert with no large lag or dropped packets but from there the firewall or that auto update server are not allowing the process to finish so i never contact the auto-update server no matter when or how often i try.

    Funny thing is that even the use of the HotSpot Shield VPN fails 50% of the time. STO is the only internet related website or game I am having a problem with at the moment.

    i did get back in game and now seems to be fixed. there is a lag more then normal for starting launcher. thank you for your responce.

    When I try to log on a popup box says it's trying to update the launcher but then it times out. It tells me to check my connection which is running just fine.
    TRied many times today...always the same ...
    I've read another thread about it but it has been closed....I still have this problem ( I'm Italian and I try to connect from Italy of course)
    Someone has my same problem?

    p.s. i've noticed that it's impossible for me to connect to www.startrekonline.com. too...
    but i've got no problems connecting in many other websites...and i've got no connection problems if I don't try to play or go on the official website

    Many people are having this problem it seems to various degrees.

    I have had the problem for over a week now and the only response i have ever gotten was that its must be something on my end and that i should reboot my router and my computer. I have done that several times since the problem started and it has not helped at all.

    At one point they said it was because of maintenance by Cogent or something like that but my trace route does not even go through any of the servers that cogent runs.

    as far as i can tell, either thier firewall is blocking addresses it should not be blocking (like the dynamic IP address space that verizon in my area uses) or the patch server is blocking the ip addresses or for some reason the firewall server is not routing the traffic properly.

    Whatever the case is, thier game and thier websites are the only places i have found that i have any problems reaching. I have spent all day playing a different online game since my issue apparently can not be fixed.

    Yep, I can't play the game.

    Can only get through using a VPN. It started this afternoon.

    yeah I am getting same thing , reinstalled 2x now, so many patches. Anotehr 4420 mb patch just now, and an hour ago a 1k mb patch.

    I was having no problems earlier but now can't get connected to the Patch Server.

    I've tried many things and more than many posts suggests but still not works, I'm sad cause I've spent some money on this game, but if this bug can't be fixed I will "fly away" toward a new on line game...that's a pity but I don't wanna go crazy following any suggestion when no one of these suggestions works and they don't fix it and don't post a serious reply ...I think they could say " wait for a week and we will fix it"..they only try and I think they don't know what are doing really that's not a good impression for a game who makes you spend real money....even if the launcher will start to work again I will always have doubt about spending more monoey knowing that some day i can't play cause they aren't able to fix issues....:mad:
