STO Dev Blog Has Lost It's Theme?

I just went to the main site and clicked on STO Season 7 Dev Blog #9. I was greeted with the information but it didn't seem to feel right. Why?

Because the Blog has seemed to lost all it's STO feel and has become a genericly themed blog. Follow the link below to see what the new Blog looks like. It links to all Season 7 dev blogs so you can check for yourself that something is indeed going on.

I don't like it, The STO website had a consistent look and feel and now they've just thrown that away for the sake of PWE integration. However there is a chance that this was a simple mistake that the STO theme was accidentally uninstalled or no longer correctly assigned to STO blogs.

Either way... something went wrong and I would like to strongly encourage to return the Dev Blogs to their previous state.

    Cheap and nasty is the theme these day with anything that PW touches.(Pun intended). ;)

    With opera i see this changes too, but with chrome i see old classic theme of sto news pages... boh!

    Past week, sometimes images on the site won't display for me - not a problem I have anywhere else - and yeah, as of dev blog #9 these pages started to look themed like one of those standard, free to download blogs. Blue and white.

    To think we used to complain about the Cryptic webteam.

    Not having the issue here at all. Flushed the cache and everything. What browser are you using?

    Just pulled it up on Chrome and you're right -- they did something in the last 24 hours that makes it look like they lost all the custom formatting options -- big blue banner on all white page -- no Star Trek feel whatsoever.

    I'm hoping this is just a server glitch and it gets fixed within a day or so. BranFlakes would probably know for sure.

    The error seems to be intermittent, and only affecting some browsers. The Web Team is investigating :)

    Intriguing. I just went to blog 9 to check, and... it wasn't right anymore.

    This isn't PWE-style either, just classic design like a lazy web designer simply took the first template he could find and stuffed in the blog.

    Viral infection, website error, or browser bug? :P

    Also, I can confirm it's intermittent, as the issue hasn't occured to me until today. And I read the blog earlier.

    I'm using IE8 if it helps. IE9 is too much of an overhaul to the UI (what's new there, it's Microsoft after all)
