It seems like a read only copy of game info but nothing interactive that I would find a purpose in using it for. If it had some intricate things like being able to doff with it, seeing doff missions available for each sector with my characters, etc I could find a use for it but other than that it seems like a waste of time Nothing against anyone at Cryptic but if I am able to go look at this gateway I am also having access to the game so I don't see any point in using it.
I'm like what I am seeing. I know DOFF functionality is in the future. But one thing I request and suggest which will hep DOFFers a lot. Have DOFF roster export ability on a CVS or XML format. It would do wonders for players trying to manage a large DOFF roster. A minimum or name, type, subtype (for the different flavors on a type). quality and bound state. Any extra field would be gravy. Doesn't have to aything special or even being displayable under your UI. Just something so I can crunch the roster.

I did that. Windows 8. IE10. Modern UI and desktop. Compatibility mode allows the logon screen to show, but not function. Standard modes show a blank screen.
It would be nice to be able to access the "Captain's Log", like the old site had.

I was stunned we didn't have at least a blog interface to the Captain's Log when we launched, I was thrilled with the release of the interface, as rough as it was, and I was deeply saddened when it died.
Please. Please please please. Give us our personal logs in the Gateway. You can use the same hooks into the database to give us Accolade information or whatever else you feel is important enough to justify it. Just please. Give us the logs.

It would be awesome if it had the same Okudagram format as a PADD from the show, complete with moving menu graphics. Then, it would feel immersive when using a notebook or iPad.
I realize that this is a work in progress however each & everytime I try to use this Gateway system it says that it is under/down for maintanance which I must say SUCKS....so far as I see it, it's a big fail...so untill I actualy see that it "works" & am able to use it, I will stand firm on that assesment.
thought it was pretty fun but I ran into a few issues:
- on the patrol mission, it seemed like the starbase was way overpowered. :eek: I always play on elite though, but it seems to one shoot me everytime i attack it. makes killing a regular borg cube seem like swatting a bug in comparison.
- on new romulus my boff tried to commit suicide when i crossed the old bridge and i lost her behind. :rolleyes:
- had a bit of trouble finding the bug spray. maybe just me.
other then that it was pretty fun

New Romulus is really cool looking. Great graphics. I also like the updates to the menus. It's going to take a little time to learn the new layout, but it's pretty straight forward. Without the traffic to the vendors, will DS9 end up like K-7?

If you go to earth space dock and look out the shipyard window, you can see the new Vesta!
got on the gateway today and i love the interface and the way im able to view my info my crew and accolades. cant wait to see the full official release as well as an android app(hopefully). great job on both the gateway and new maps/missions and the new reputation system. keep bringing us more journeys and ventures.

Can't see more than 8 BOFFs in the screen, I have more and it would be nice to see all of them (even if they are not used as the default away team or allocated on a ship).

Would be nice to see all the ships on the character (even if they are not the default) and the items/weapons they currently have allocated
I would like to see a ship design and loadout screen added similar to the Ship Design website that Cryptic had a while back only one that has all of the options from the game.
It would also be nice to see all of the ships and ship loadouts for each character on an account.
Why are people posting S7 feedback in this thread? I guess because it's the only sticky currently on the forum. :rolleyes:
Anyway the Gateway looks pretty slick. Fonts look great. 3D renders look hot. Accolade medals look freakin' awesome and I bet STOwiki will be a prettier place because of it. :cool:
There is a bug I mentioned in the S7 threads: because of the new ship/shuttle system, there are some NPCs who are using my Shuttle name in dialogue boxes, even though I am actually flying in my full escort.
I just logged in to the Gateway after logging out of Tribble, and lo and behold, it thinks my active ship is my shuttle. So this bug is systemic. Whether or not the Gateway lets you see all your ships (which it probably should), it is clear that the new ship/shuttle system is not setting the right flag somehow.

Got on no problem. But I'm slightly confused at the point, I mean I like the graphics, and everything looked cool. I would have assumed this App would be for use with the Ol' doff system, or something similar.
I've been trying to log in Star Trek online Gateway. But all I get when I try to log in was, DISCONNECTED!

Not only is it not displaying accolades I have yet to complete, several of the accolade ribbons / icons that are shown have a grey rectangle behind them, almost like they weren't made with a transparent background.
Also, "Incendiary Intervention" is misspelled as "Incendiarty Intervention".
I can quickly see the STO Gateway adding additional functionality to permit players to manage duty officer assignments in their current sectors, fleet project selection and contributions, as well as the new Reputation system that was just released with Season 7?
I upgraded my Firefox browser from version 15 to version 17 this week. Apparently, this was enough of a change for Gateway Account Guard to detect my browser as additional to the one from previous record. So I was sent a new code tonight. Just an observation more than anything. I suppose this is typical for how Account Guard is supposed to work?

Hi, I'm sorry, I really can't login to the Gateway.
Don't know what to do, I tried from different computers, different browsers and my phone, it always says: "Gateway is currently under maintenance. Please try again later".
Noticed something now:
the message shows up right away on Chrome, Blackberry's and other browsers, while with Internet Explorer it just gets stuck at the screen "Accessing Secure Personnel Files Please Wait..." just after entering credentials, for a long time. And then, the message shows up.
Can we see other captains this way? With the old player profiles, you could see another player's captains. Can we get something like this added to the Gateway, or the captain profiles added back in?

Creating a private PVE event is also broken, the start button is grayed out, even when using all FED toons...
Some of the missions are a bit pointless, however thats always been the case with these online games.
PVP seems to be working ok from what I have tried out...
However here is the issues, no dili!!! We need more if you want us to use more, not less thats very un fair to all within the game...

that is what will happen if you continue on this Scrooge like route with the dili...
Here's an easy fix, just have a reward of 1000 dili on ALL PVE events...
These points of yours are useless...
I know you want to make money, however we want a game to enjoy, not to hate...
Apart from that everything else is fine, however with the bugs you have created within S7 I would advise not going live for another few weeks yet...
