problems logging in? (Resolved!)

    I get the same error message when I try to login. This didn't start happening until after the maintence was done to the shard. Anyone know what's up?

    I logged out to switch character and couldn't log back in. And now I'm having this same problem. :(

    Oh Yea! They were the good ole days! Most peeps don't know how good they have it these days! Server stability is a whole lot better lately. We should count ourselves lucky that these unexpected downtimes are so rare now!

    same problem here....played for a bit..got booted off the server...now cannot connect

    I was in game about 20 minutes ago and knew something was about to happen because the mail server stopped responding.

    I made the mistake of logging out to see if that would fix the situation.

    Now, I'm locked out with the rest of you...

    It's effectively down for those not already in-game. The Status bar should be more precise in reporting server status. Just glad I checked the forums before I started changing settings wholesale to no effect.

    Agreed, but players in the game do not get to see the launcher, only people wanting to enter, so for them, its as good as down! :P

    Yeah it got so bad they were named the "expected - unexpected downtime"

    Hi all, logged in after todays patch without a problem but am now unable to log back in. Getting the unable to authenticate message. Have tried changing passwords but no luck. Anybody got any solution to this?

    Could be coincidence but I got booted mid STF when everyone started posting...
